The Cheapest Show on Earth!
I'd have to say that the Marlins advertising campaigns the last couple of years have been the worst I've ever seen. The Marlins spend more on advertising than any other team in the MLB. just because you spend tons of money it won't make you the best at what you do. isn't that right, yankees?

The Cheapest Show on Earth!
it really annoys me that their slogans for the last couple of years have been exactly the same. ''get hooked'' and then ''get hooked up'' there's probably another similar slogan in between. how lazy can you get?

Mangini new Browns HC
cleveland loves new england's leftovers Well, wasn't it New England that took Cleveland's leftovers in Belichick? sure. half a decade later. in the last few years the browns have taken crennel, mangini, and a couple of other coaches. they signed willie mcginest. want scott pioli & asked to interview josh mcdaniels. you can argue miami did the same with dallas, but that's actually working. :cool

NFL Playoffs
oh well. cant get mad at getting knocked out in the 1st round of the playoffs after winning one f***ing game last season. there should be no poo-pooing of miami's season, regardless of how it ended.

Tom Brady Might Miss Next Season
Cassel is certainley capable of taking a team to the playoffs and winning a superbowl. don't get crazy. there's no doubt that he had a great year, but for all we know he can be the next scott mitchell. and don't forget the patriots (and the rest of the afc east) played some of the worst teams in the nfl this season. put another couple of good seasons under your belt and then we'll talk.

Broncos fire Shanahan
If Cowher returns anywhere, i believe it would be with the Jets sadly. He would want to make a splash with an already contending team, and the Jets is where he would be able to contend as well as get a lot of publicity. he turned the job down according to espn

The Dolphins...
What the hell are you talking about Erick? Pennington defenitely deserves the MVP award. He's a candidate, but he "definitely deserves" it? There are a number of QB's who had very good seasons, who are right up there with Chad. PS - Really funny how people are now bashing Jason Taylor after the Dolphins were bashed this offseason for letting Taylor go. I guess that's the way it works. Just like how the Jets were brilliant for getting Favre this offseason, yet now people are saying "oh, it was clearly a stupid move...Chad>Favre"... blah, blah, blah. I guess it'll probably be the same when baseball season comes around. If Hermida performs, everyone will come on and say they always loved him...if he doesn't "man, I told you that guy sucked." If the Marlins have a good year, "haha, payroll's for losers, Marlins are smart." If the Marlins have a bad year, we'll get to hear "man, Loria is a cheap man!" Gotta love those people who all of the sudden now feel like they "knew it all along." :lol I'll admit it. I was really pissed when we traded for JT. And while we don't need him now, i would still love to have him on the Dolphins. He could've been that other pass rushing threat with Joey Porter. BTW, i loved the Pennington signing. i love jt as much as the next guy, but he had a terrible year. they sent him on his way right when they needed to. and i don't think jp would have had as good a year as he did if jason was still a dolphin.

The Dolphins...
dolphins coming back from a 1-15 season to -knock the jets out of the playoffs with their old qb -win at the toilet that is the meadowlands in front of their fans -possibly end brett favre's career -eliminate the patriots from contention this is a wetdream come true
-
The Dolphins...
The reason the Dolphins are having a good year is because a lot of traditionally strong teams are having bad years. like the patriots? steelers? colts? :whistle

Shaq vs. Ilgauskas
Shaq is an overhyped player who only got famous because of his big mouth, he was on the Lakers, his NBA championships, and his controversies with Kobe. God forbid a man be recognized as one of the best players the NBA has ever seen for his multiple championships and Finals MVP's... :shifty On the other hand, Ilgauskas is a quiet player who has spent his entire career in Cleveland. And has ZERO to show for it. Give me the loudmouth winner every day of the week.

NFL Thread- Week 16
i cant believe they flexed f***ing sd/den - a game where the winner will be 8-8 - over miami/nyj Especially since this game was the 4 pm national game anyways. I wonder if they'll move Miami/NY to the late afternoon to take its place. i highly doubt that. a time change would have been announced by now. they can't just mention it mid-week. the league could use some 4pm games on sunday seeing how there are only...2. yeah. 2...13 games have a 1pm start time. i don't know how that happens, but ok then.
