8/10 Dodgers at Marlins
Have they mentioned how the fans greeted Hanley? (I know it wasn't shown) 75% boo'd him, rightfully so.Its stupid. People should have boo'd him for sucking. Now they do it because he was traded? Dumb. Well I'm sure they were booing him because he wasn't good enough to stay with the Marlins... I don't know why someone would boo him over a trade, unless people hate Eovaldi.

Let's talk Ruggiano
He just hit his 10th home run.

Let's talk Ruggiano
Pardon my ignorance, since I gave up watching most of the games in June, but what is the reason for Ruggiano's success. He's 30 and had zero success before in the majors. I just figured his high batting average was a fluke and that he would regress back to a sub 300 hitter. The boards seem to have faith in him, so what do you think are the prospects that his performance this year is legit and repeatable in future years? Some of the board didn't have faith said he was too much of a pull hitter, so much for that. *Knock on wood*

8/8 Post Game
Stanton and Reyes are two pretty solid reasons to keep watching Marlins baseball this season. Ruggiano, too. At least, for me. +1

8/8 Post Game
So pissed I missed most of this game thanks to MLB.TV eating sh*t tonight. Going to catch the condensed game when it goes up. Amazing win, Stanton makes such a huge difference for this team. Everyone wants to do good. It is 2:20 am and the only games not condensed are MIL vs CIN, Hanleywood and MIA VS. NYM I'm canceling my mlb.tv subscription because people working there think that no one wants to watch GIANCARLO HIT BALLS FAR!

8/8 - Marlins at Mets
What a game, I refuse to watch any highlights until the condensed game is up, or perhaps I could spend three hours watching the entire game now. :|

Bell taking swipes and may close again
People second guessed him because he couldn't close. That being said he has pitched very well since July 15th. I guess now would be the best time to see if he could close, because this seasons playoff opportunities are pretty much over.

If You Were The FO, What Changes Would You Make In The Offseason? Who
This team will probably have 60 homeruns at the end of the year. More than half of which will be from Stanton alone. I would also be interested in your strategy on how to get rid of those players you mentioned. I think at the end of the season, that could be a better time than ever to dump these players. Look at Hanley for example. He's doing pretty well in LA. Maybe these guys just need a change of scenery. Hanley is doing well in LA? Dude is hitting like 2 bucks and a quarter. We were very fortunate to get rid of that waste of talent. He's still hitting better in LA then he was in Miami. At least I thought. He's hitting .217 with a .690 OPS, way below average numbers. He's done. Get rid of Ozzie, and get a manager who gives a damn. LeBlanc should have been a starter at the beginning of this year. Spend money on a veteran 3B (because Cox won't be ML ready for a while) + CF and continue to look for SP you can never have enough. I still think pitching is the most important thing to a baseball team, maybe get rid of Buck and throw some cash at another starter.

Changes in FO possible
After reading this lovely article from David Hyde: http://www.sun-senti...0,594249.column It seems pretty clear that the FO shouldn't face the brunt of the blame for some of the worst moves. This article claims the only reasons we signed John Buck, Heath Bell, and a few others were due to Loria's interference. Very unfortunate... Hey Loria! Let Beinfest RUN THE TEAM... you know the job you pay him for! Op-eds suck it's the reason I decided not to continue a career in journalism. There is too much crap around now days and reading into a lot of these articles just confuses you from knowing the actual truth. The actual truth is that Beinfest has failed in a lot of areas when it comes to the farm system and that is being seen in full right now. I'm not saying Loria didn't have anything to do with this past year's moves (Bell) but I cannot fault the owner over the President of Baseball Operations at this point, it just doesn't work like that. He's had plenty of time and the Marlins have gotten worse, it's time for a change.

Changes in FO possible
There needs to be changes, I'm not going to be stupid and say I think everyone should be gone because we did in fact spend money and our attendance numbers ARE in fact middle of the pack in major league baseball, we've never been able to say that in our history. It was stupid of them to think this team was destined for the World Series, I said before the season started that the team would finish .500 and that doesn't even look like a possibility at this point. That being said I think the frontrunners on those who need to leave are Beinfest and Guillen the proof is in the pudding.

The Chick-fil-a dilemma
Living in the United States gives us freedom of speech and opinion, there is nothing wrong with what he said and to add to that it's biblical. Thats all that really needs to be said. Plus he probably unknowingly gave his company one of the largest profit days ever by saying what he said. What are you trying to say? That anything "biblical" is beyond reproach? Personally I'm tired of religion and really look forward to the day when humanity can come out of its infancy and drop it all together like a bad habit. There is no need for reproach, and yes I'm a christian. If he wasn't a christian and said what he said I would still be backing it up, you act like there is something wrong with what he said because it pertains to biblical faith. The man agrees with the biblical form of marriage a man and a woman. Religion will never go away, nor will people defending what they believe, it's our right in fact.

Hanley, Choate to LA for Eovaldi, McGough
No one should miss him. Everyone should miss his early career. But he sucks now so, his early career is irrelevant. Plus he's an asshole. Under performing + asshole = Don't miss him. Plus we got a good young starting pitcher and got rid of his contract.

08/05 Post Game (Same old sh*!)
My favorite thing about this team is reading the Facebook comments whenever the Marlins post. They're all negative. Same, I went to bed at 3am and the team was losing when I woke up.

8/4 Post Game
Your obsession with that trade is rather absurd at this point. Your lack of understanding disturbs me. I don't care about the trade. I am just amused by the swollen penises around here over alveoli. You could easily say the same thing about Turner and Brantly, yet you nitpick that specific trade. Don't know why considering Hanley has sucked with the Dodgers.
