Mission: Impossible III
Saw it last night the action sequences were amazing. this movie had me on the edge of my seat throughout. i also enjoyed the performance of Ving Rhames, he had great chemistry with Cruise i wasnt too impressed by Phillip Seymour Hoffman playing the villain. hes a great actor, but i dont think he was good for this role and, last but not least, Tom Cruise proved why, at least IMO, he is the best action star there is very exciting and entertaining movie, ill give it a 3 out of 4

Mike Metzger did it.
Speaking of amazing feats, does anyone know when David Blane will drown himself or whatever? BTW, gratz to Metz. Monday on ABC this is his first ABC special since Vertigo, when he stood on top of a pillar for 2 days or so and then jumped off

Derek Jeter voted most overrated in baseball
Bill Simmons wrote an interesting article about this, not about him being overrated in playing during the regular but about his overrated "clutchness", I def. agreed with some points. yeah his clutchness is definitely overrated there is no way his play is overrated though. id take Carlos Beltran as most overrated

Texas and ND turn down UM
UM is always willing to play the best yet the best never want to play Da U! Is Miami even elite right now? Da U is falling faster then a bag of rocks off the Empire State Building. :thumbdown Due to your Mod powers and affiliation in HN I will not insult you or berate you. Dance puppet, dance. Last I checked a 9-3 season is a good year for the Irish and teams like Ohio state or Texas normally. for Miami that is a year to get fired. Miami isnt going anywhere from being an elite program. Remember we did have a rookie QB last year also. Miami will end up in the BCS talk plenty next year. Miami has fallen some because of poor coaching and worse recruiting and as long as Uncle Fester is head coach, it will only get worse

Anyone ever used Priceline before? Charlotte, NC?
Dont get stuck at Charlottes airport. I had to sleep there one night, and it sucks major. I had to sleep on the floor under a rolling baggage cart. So, make hotel reservations in advance. isnt that complaint true of every airport?

13-13
They could play the rest of the season at home and they still wouldn't sniff .500. Some(most) of you have to get beyond looking at wins and losses as the measuring stick this season. If not, you're in for a very long and dissapointing summer. Just root for progress from some individual players. And hope we steer clear of serious injuries. Very true but as Ive mentioned......we've played 6 home games. I believe that as of tonite the NL West leading Astros have played about 5 or 6 AWAY games. My point is there is still a chance we wont lose 100 games this year. *NL Central leading Astros we wont get back to .500 any time soon, its gonna take playing well over a long stretch to get anywhere near that point

Nash Wins 2nd Straight MVP Award
Am I the only one who thinks it's pretty amusing/ironic on how the NBA is so predominantly black and this freakin' white canadian dude keeps winning MVP? Everytime I see him he reminds me of that silly long haired punk from the Bad News Bears. Kelly something or other. :lol Kelly Leak :lol
