Jeepers! Kobe to switch to #24
stupid policy regarding changing numbers. a player should be able to do that whenever he wants. he should stick with 8 though So you'd be ok with a guy going from number to number...game to game? to my knowledge, no other league has a rule on numbers and players arent switching every game

AAA
I just started watching the Heat/Bulls game on ESPN...how come everyone in the Arena is wearing white?! That looks freakin awesome! :thumbup Um, they kinda incourage fans to wear a shirt the same color as the uniform they use, or a certain color, forgot how it works. But it's suppose to freak out the opposing team or something. no, its just a lame attempt at selling more stuff during the playoffs

Out of Whack Stat
Well, not making an error in one start isn't saying a lot. And Aguila hasn't been swinging a hot bat either and I doubt he will play a large role in the Marlins future. On this team, it says alot

Willis was offered to the Mets!!
HanRam - SS Willingham - LF Cabrera - RF Hermida - CF Wright - 3B That's a sick set of hitters. :hat I'm not totally against it, but it's a rumor. They're always fun especially when they're somewhat feasible. Don't forget to add Shadez. That would be the best five players in any one team in all of baseball within a few years. HanRam = Shadez

the gimmicks the heat have done the last 3 years are getting old Back in Black was tolerable because the heat had been out of the playoffs for awhile and tied into the song, but Red Zone and White Hot Heat are uber-lame So go apply for Director of Arena Design (or w/e the hell it's called) well excuse me for giving an opinion about your heat personally i think the white hot gimmick is idiotic. lets do all red or black like in the past seeing that those are our actual colors, one could say yellow to but thats just nasty. Yeah, I was commenting to some people last night wondering why they didn't do red. THey didn't want to repeat last year. 04 was black 05 was red 06 is white Red is also more of an association with the image of the Chicago Bulls too. I think of the 3 colors listed, the Heat would have eliminated red right away because of the opponent. the color was set well before the matchups were figured out but it works out well that the fans dont match up with the away teams jersey

Mike & Mike in the morning - Girardi
Giradi has a tough job but not like Mike and Mike phrased it. He just has to work with them on SOME things not everything. Those guys are idiots straight up, they do that show cuz they cant anchor on Sportscenter. but Greenberg does host SC anyways Girardi does have the hardest job because he has to manage more rookies than anyone else in MLB

The 1995 NHL Draft........ sigh
Dvorak was like that speedy kid from the Mighty Ducks movie, he was fast, couldn't score on a breakaway, and only stopped by slamming into the glass. ironically that character was from Miami and i believe he wore a Panthers jersey in MD3 (not sure about the jersey, but sure about the Miami thing)

3 Marlins among baseball's Top 50 players
Hermida at 47? Thats a little high at this point. Hanley has shown more than Hermida so far. One day Hermida will be in the top 50 but not now. this list is based mostly on a player's potential and looks heavily at their PECOTA rating so Hermida definitely deserves to be on the top 50, but im kind of surprised Hanley isnt on here at all fishfanforever: Carpenter is #39 on the list. considering how hes 7 years older than Willis, i dont think he should be 8 spots ahead of Dontrelle

3 Marlins among baseball's Top 50 players
47. Jeremy Hermida 42. Dontrelle Willis 4. Miguel Cabrera What Cabrera has done might have received more attention if Albert Pujols hadn't beaten him to the punch by a couple of seasons. But consider Cabrera's top 20 PECOTA comparables. Five of them (Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray, Hank Aaron, Johnny Bench and Orlando Cepeda) are already in the Hall of Fame. Another three (Pujols, Vladimir Guerrero and Ken Griffey Jr.) are well on their way. Two more (Jim Rice and Dick Allen) are more likely than not going to join the group someday. Cabrera has fewer than 1,600 big-league at bats to his name -- and yet we can say that he's an even-money shot to make the Hall of Fame. That doesn't happen every day. 50-26 25-1

Keira Knightley wishes she had the oppertunity to sleep around.
Ahhh Joe Simpson. The award goes to him, both of his kids turned into delightful train wrecks afterall. Either way, this article seems like a desperate grab at publicity to me. I wouldn't call them "train wrecks." One of them's really dumb and one of them seems to be floating by without any talent. Neither one is starving for work yet, or knocked up. i agree with you. theyve both had bad times lately (Jessica's marriage falling apart, Ashley lip-syncing) but neither is what i would call a train wreck

With the #2 seed locked up..
Huh. That makes the NBA retarded. the real joke is that the division winners hold the top 3 seeds, even if theyre not the top 3 records in the conference (ie Dallas gets a 4 seed despite being 2nd in the west) Well, I don't really have a problem with that part of it. Every sport does that. Without that, you may as well just get rid of divisions altogether. i think division champs should be guaranteed a playoff spot, but thats it. keep the divsions, just dont give more favorable seeding to division winners over teams with better records
