April 16, 200620 yr I was wonderring, with the #2 seed locked up in the East, should the Heat start Dorell Wright at shooting guard the rest of the regular season and rest Dwyane Wade? Would give the young Wright some nice playing time and we will be able to see if Wright is indeed the future star guard everyone predicted him to be. I'm excited to see what he can do. Any chance Riley will do this?
April 16, 200620 yr I highly doubt it. If we rest Wade, it'll be Derek Anderson starting, IMO. I want us to finish with a better record than Phoenix, though, so that if the Heat and Suns go to the Finals, we'll have the homecourt.
April 16, 200620 yr I'm real interested in what kind of a player Dorell Wright is. Is he another Darius Miles with the crazy athleticism and nothing else or like someone else?
April 16, 200620 yr I'm real interested in what kind of a player Dorell Wright is. Is he another Darius Miles with the crazy athleticism and nothing else or like someone else? He looked good in the NBDL for a couple of games. Take that for what it's worth, though.
April 16, 200620 yr I think the Heat will get into their rotation a bit more today. I mean, obviously, they already are. They're getting JWill and Posey their legs back. This is the last home game, so they'll still try to give the fans a little bit of a show. I expect them to shut it down a bit more on the road for their last two games. My guess is Shaq and Wade get about 20 mins each on Tuesday, and they sit out on Wednesday. Dorrell will get in on Wednesday at least, but they won't start him. If Wright can't work his way into the rotation a little next year, I'd say it's never going to happen for him here.
April 16, 200620 yr Heat should put their best foot forward at least against the Bulls today. They need to help their fellow Florida team.
April 16, 200620 yr Well it's a tough decision...You don't want to have one of your star players get hurt in meaningless games....But at the same time, you are playing a team that is vying for the playoffs--and it should be a challenge, not a cake walk. I really don't mind Riley playing the subs...but I can see why it would upset some.
April 16, 200620 yr I would love to see wright get some playing time but I dont forsee it happening. It seems they wont wanna give the chance. Could we perhaps start to wonder if he might just not be good enough?
April 16, 200620 yr dorell wright blows. he's so far from NBA quality that, by letting him play, we'd be wasting minutes that could otherwise be used to let bench guys get into a rhythm for the playoffs. at this point i think riles realizes what's up...and i don't think he'll be giving dorell that extension.
April 17, 200620 yr Wright wont play. if they do sit Wade out its so players like Posey and Williams can get into game action before we start the play offs.
April 17, 200620 yr Riley isn't coaching against the Hawks because of a family illness, maybe the assistant coaches will let Wright play.
April 17, 200620 yr It's not a big deal, but I really think Wright will play. Riley may very well inactivate Wade and Shaq, at least for the last game, and he's not going to put JWill and Posey in there for 40 minutes, when they're both coming off of injuries...especially JWill, that's the last thing you want to do with him.
April 17, 200620 yr he should spot start....wade should play for just a little while during the games...keep him fresh and to avoid injury..
April 17, 200620 yr The Heat are f***faces. I can't wait until next year when we f***ing rock their asses to sleep.
April 17, 200620 yr In all fairness, it wasn't happening for Orlando anyway. But I understand the frustration. When they were within 10 points in the 4th, Wade should have been on the floor.
April 17, 200620 yr Very very proud of the way the Bulls have battled back this season. I know, it just sucks that you clinched against the second string Heat.

April 17, 200620 yr WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I'm sympathizing with Orlando fans, because Miami pissed me off that they didn't play their 1st team. You guys are all-knowing asses though, I guess.
