April 11, 200422 yr I'll say 2 games because if I'm correct the Puerto Rico stadium is a hitters park so I think one of our pitchers might get shelled.
April 12, 200422 yr I'm going for the sweep. We play very well in PR and will have more fan support than the Expos.
April 12, 200422 yr News Flash: Hiram Bithorn moved back the fences :whistle ad-van-taj... Marleeeens!
April 12, 200422 yr NO TV here.. too costly to transmit from PR thats what I hear.. and yes it is a hitters park.... We do have lots of Fan base there however expos have Vidro and he is very popular!! Rodriguez played for us though! We are loved! hehe
April 12, 200422 yr 2 games. Two sweeps in a row would just be a disaster .. for Peter Gammonds and the ESPN crew who have the Phillies winning the division. :cool No tv? Not even on MLBTV? :thumbdown
April 12, 200422 yr Author I was surprised that we couldn't take down the Expos in all three games the last series, so I think we can finish the job properly this time.
April 12, 200422 yr no need to be greedy so early in the season....winning every series seems like a great start to me. 2 games for sure, i dont see montreal taking a series from us anytime soon
April 12, 200422 yr Should be interesting....we were great at home last year too, but struggled a bit on the road.
April 12, 200422 yr I'd love another sweep, but thats wishful thinking. Id have to say two out of three for us. Cant rule out the possibility of the spos takin two out of three either though. Either way we come out the series still on top of our division. ~Le0
April 12, 200422 yr it's almost like playing on the road for both of us. penny, pavs, and willis... hmm, i think we should be able to pull off 2 out of 3
April 12, 200422 yr Pavano's a flyball pitcher, so I'd say he's less of a certainty, especially in P.R., I say two...
April 12, 200422 yr just a note.....the stadium in PR that the Expos play at has had its dimensions altered this year. the fences are now at exactly the same distances as they are in the Expos' other home, Olympic Stadium in Montreal. therefore, it's no longer a super-hitter's park, and the Marlins will not be at as much of a disadvantage.
April 12, 200422 yr We know that Willis and Pavano will be at the top of their game, so hopefully Brad can bounce back and really show his stuff this time around. 2 out of 3, but could very easily be a series sweep!
