July 21, 200422 yr it seems there is alot of negativity torwards ESPN recently(not just here). I used to be a HUGE fan of anything ESPN including going to ESPNzone, and watching every channel. Who here hasn't watched SportsCenter 2 hours straight knowing it was on tape at 3am? It has worn off some, although I can't say I "hate" anyone on their roster, it is a bit dramatized. I actually feel Fox Sports is gaining fast on popularity and have done a good job competing with them. Having regional shows might turn out to be the better idea. I wonder who has more radio staions, ESPN Radio or FoxSports Radio. SportingNews Radio is around but not close. Do you all feel the same way?

I can only listen to so much arguing on tv. Sometimes, when I watch ESPN, I like to see.....sports and sports highlights. Not old men arguing sports. Reality shows - the sportscenter anchor thing was kinda cool b/c it gives SC some new blood...but it's lame that ESPN jumped on the reality bandwagon. World Series of Poker - nothin against WSP, but I want SPORTS! I don't want to see Chris Moneymaker staring at a table! What's more, there was so much going on in sports a couple weeks ago, yet ESPN was playing RERUNS of WSP from a year ago! WTF! SportsCenter - It's turning real gay. I watch ESPNews for sports stuff. Now we get sob stories about violent sports video games, get to listen to ESPN's "legal experts" (wtf, Entertainment and Sports Programming Network has "legal experts"? I'll turn it to CourtTV thank you), Silver Bullet Hotseat or whatever....cmon now. I don't want game shows. That's what the Gameshow Network is for (damn good channel too). ALL I'M ASKING FOR IS SPORTS ANALYSIS, HIGHLIGHTS, AND A BOX SCORE THINGY AFTER THE HIGHLIGHTS. Highlights do not include showing 1 HR and some empty seats.

July 21, 200422 yr i absolutely cannot stand linda cohn. it gets to the point where i sometimes have to change the channel when she starts talking... she's flat-out horrible. john kruk gets on my nerves, and chris berman can occasionally annoy me as well.

July 21, 200422 yr Author its the 24 hour sports network right?!? haha, i love ESPN during college football season. They actually have college football. College basketball season, they have college basketball. I guess they try finding fillers in the afternoon.....with PTI and ATH...i have to leave the room if someone is watching either of those shows...they absolutely blow. How do people get their jollies watching old men argue over sports (and half the stuff doesnt pertain to sports, and the half that does aren't even valid points...they just try sounding cutesy and clever to earn points or whatnot).

Chris Berman- and the constantly inventing stupid nicknames like "Pat the flying Purrel" John Kruk- the fattest ass on ESPN. Linda Cohan- having that sexual relationship with Mr. Met. Rob Dibble- ASS Jeff Brantley- constantly whining during telecast about players mistakes. The NFL Draft Nerd Hank Goldberg it looks like a list of people you wouldn't want to show up at your party.
July 21, 200422 yr I like PTI,those guys are actually pretty funny...ATH sucks...I like Dan Patrick because I think he gives ESPN a little bit of credibility. Everyone else is ok. I like Harold, hate Gammons, and Jeff Brantley.

I think some of you are just saying you hate him because other people hate him. Berman is awsome. Kruk was an awsome baseball player, and all of you hate him because he hates the marlins. WELL DUH! He's a PHILLE! Do you want him to turn away. I would hope 10 years down the road if Conine became an annocer would favor the marlins. I like ESPN because theyre opinionated. It creates discussion and its really the only sports station worth watching, the shows on FSN are horrible and the sunshine network is blah. this just in-gammons said that marlins are front runners in finley.
