Who Should Play First Base ?

Featured Replies

i think that if the marlins were to trade stokes you put cabs at first because u have no one else in the farm at 1B but plenty in the OF (herminia,reed......)

Who has cabs been most compared to....... Pujols who origanly was a 3b for the Card in his rookie season and then moved to the OF last year and this year has found him self as a 1b. I think this is the right move for cabrera even though its a waste of his Cannon

there will be no platooning ppl...

conine will be at first, cabs will be in LF and enc will stay in RF. thats it.enc has to lose his job in RF b4 it is given to some1 else

Why would anyone think to put Cabs at first? His arm is great and he played a lot better in left than he's played in right. As for the future if the Fish don't keep Stokes a good option for the future at first would be Willingham. He was only converted to catcher when there was the logjam at first with Ad Gonz and Stokes.

that's a good point. don't forget about Dillon being moved to the OF too.

cabrera isn't even an option.

i would think the choice would be between conine and easley.

hands down, dude...

1B - Olerud or McGriff

LF - Conine

RF - Cabrera

Olerud maybe, but McGriff? You've got to be insane. Cordero's a huge upgrade over those 2.

Conine, no doubt.

Cabs arm is far superior and Cabs showed all of us last year that he is a very good left fielder. RF is LOT tougher than LF and this is why the transition from LF to RF has been so tough for Cabs this year, it's good to see him going back to LF and I don't even think Jack will consider sticking him at 1st.
