LoDuca is the Boss

Featured Replies

LoDuca has been doing everything humanly possible to get this team to turn the corner. After tonight's win, they just may be coming around.

In 4 games as a Marlin LoDuca has put up these eye popping stats:

ABs - 14

H - 8

HRs - 2

RBIs - 5

R - 5

BA - .571

OBP - .647

SLG - 1.143

OPS - 1.790

Looks like we have the clubhouse leader we have been desperately missing.

Thank God for Paul LoDuca :thumbup

Those stats are insane. Lo Duca is rocking my world. I was pumped for him before his first AB even but now I am like.. orbiting space. He rules, no wonder LA is missing him hard. I don't expect him to keep up this pace but he's still such a presence. Especially so on the new banner here.

And like Len and T-Money pointed out, he seems to be a catalyst. Yesterday he helped start the 6 run rally, today he starts the 11 run onslaught by making our first hit a jackalishiocious.

LoDuca has been incredible since joining us.

I believe the key to keeping him going for the remainder of the season is to rest him 2 days each week. I hope Jack doesn't get caught up in all the excitement and become unwilling to let Redmond spell him every 4th day or so.

LoDuca rocks, i knew him comming would rock the house. And Mota owns that house...Encar just lives there...

Seanez kinda crapped in the house but then cleaned it up, and Valdez is just sleeping in the house...

ok, im sorry...

lo duca is awsome i agree that we should let him rest at least once a week so we can have him in september. With the addition of De luca Redmond now is yet again the best backup in baseball.

LoDuca has done a great job so far. So has Juan E. and Mota. Time to sweep the Brew crew.

Inky hasn't looked that sharp at the plate, but he has managed to find a few holes. I'd like to see LoDuca keep it going tomorrow, and then get a day off later in the weekend.

2 of the 3 hits he's gotten have been cheap hits, his swing just doesn't look right. I do like the fact that he's picked up a couple walks so far.

Since the TRADES, the Marlins have scored 5, 3, 5, 11. That is 24 runs over 4 games = 6 runs per game. If our pitching pitches LIKE IT IS CAPABLE, there is no reason why we cant climb back into this thing. It is good to just get a win...got to keep it loose out there and just play.

Did anyone see who got him with the pie in the face?

Whoever did it is likely a dead man. A veteran like LoDuca isn't going to take that.

yes he will, its all in fun

I now have two man-crushes: One on Paul and one on Furman. I can't believe the numbers this guy has put up since coming here. Nice to have him and I hope we can hold onto him for a few more years.
