August 7, 200422 yr beckett probally cant sign, this inst a joke or anything but i doubt alot of pitchers sign during the season beacuse of there pitching hand and arm. THeres allways a way to injure it and they dont want to chance a carrer on an autograph (not saying your carrer would end ) as for beckett im sure he does everything with his left hand exp. eat write everything he doesnt want to risk the blister coming back. If you ever watch 299 greg Maddux he shakes hand with his left hand. just a thought on why pitchers dont sign alot. Does anyone know if Dtrain signs alot he seems to be alot like JP

Atleast that's in my experience. Willis signs too - only other people I've heard of signing are JP, Castillo and Dontrelle. Going today, I too waited until NOBODY was there, and no cars were left but JP left early last time. Here's to hoping JP stops for me. Any girls want to stand with me with a JP sign ?? lol

August 7, 200422 yr Josh signs...and he signs in season.... a couple years ago when I actually cared about autographs, I got his at a Marlins-Braves game.... but, like nc marlin said...it's a dude writing his name in cursive on a ball...big deal.

August 8, 200422 yr *sigh* well well well! I had an awesome time at the game... it was soo much fun! After the game was over me and my friend waited by the exit and tried to snag some autographs. There were about 4 other guys that we met there. We saw a bunch of players pass by but none of them would sign. Josh beckett was right in front of us and couldn't move because of the car in front of him... but he didn't even sign for us! He just kept on shaking his head "no". The same thing with Juan Encarnacion... even though there was PLENTY of time to sign, especially since he was stopped! There were only 6 people there, so i don't understand why he couldn't sign an autograph! Well anyways... it was getting REALLY late! And the guys that were there left because it was about 12 midnight. We saw every player pass by except for Pierre. So i told my friend "I'm not leaving until I see Pierre pass by" lol. My mom was getting pretty mad at me becuz we were the only one's there. lol. My mom was waiting in the car just watching us. Well well well... guess what? Me and my friend saw a really nice truck coming toward us... it was in the other lane at first but later on switched to the lane that we were waiting by... and it slowed down... then stopped! The window slowly rolls down.... it was Juan Pierre! OMg... seriously.. i couldn't even talk... lol. All i remember saying to him was that he was my favorite player... i also told him how amazing he was, and how nice he was to stop for us! He signed a picture i had of him and a baseball. I also told him about the poster i had for him, and he told me thta he always see's it! He was super nice! He was smiling the whole time and talking to us for a little! Afterwards i just shook his hand and said 'goodnight' and 'thank you'. I ran to my mom's car and told her everything! He passed right by our car and waved at my mom! Oh man, he couldn't have been any sweeter... seriously! All of the other players are just a**holes compared to him! What a sweetheart! Seriously! Wow.... but i finally met him! I couldn't find any girls to stand with us since nobody else was around, we waited like 30 minutes just for Pierre (everyone had already left) and we were about to give up and leave when he finally stopped talking (lol) and came out, didn't wave, just kept going =|

Might not be likely in this case, but I live in the clouds and sometimes just hear random mumbling coming out of people's mouths instead of hearing what they are saying because I'm just in my own world and I'm not listening. August 10, 200422 yr lol gurl thats awesome..yea u told me all about it on the phone lol but to everyone else...i got miguels n benitez's autograph it was super fun the only one whos mean is beckett and alex they NEVER sign alex looked at us with a hate face miguel signed for EVERYONE there and AJ was super nice he waved and smiled i was about to get an autograph signed but he signed for 2 people then he had to go also pavano signed but only for a few cuz he had to go to lol but they were nice enough to stop and sign. Miguels wife looked at me with a hard face for no absolute reason when all i did was smile. well chika, when we go on saturday hopefully we can get more autographs n meet some more guys i'll see ya at the game n lets stay late! hopefully i'll meet mikey someday i still havent seen him, he seems like a nice guy so he'll most likely sign for us! and we'll talk to JP! ~Jenny~
