July 27, 200323 yr Author i have no prob. with rondell white coming off the bench i dont think he will have a prob. coming off the bench. i mean he would be coming from the worst team in the nl to a team in the middle of the pennant race. trade for white and send down banks me thinks Rondell would start also, i just checked the AP Wire and there is nothing there.... yet Damn what happens to Cabs though? Does he sit on the bench or get some AB's at AAA? Man the kid played a hell of a game then to find out later in the day that he is heading to the minors? Is this the right message to send to Cabs?

July 27, 200323 yr man, castro, this doesn sit too well with me...i dont think we can resign pudge, and we loose a hell of a lot of production at catcher next year if ramon is not there........i think we do have to think about next year, make moves to help the team now, but never at the expense of the future, you just cant do that....we'll see how this pays off if its true

July 27, 200323 yr we already saw in 2002 what kind of production you're going to get out of redmond. i love the guy but he's a FA. to trade castro now makes no sense for 2004. i can only assume there is a reason that we're not aware of. on the otherhand after the job beinfest and mckeon are doing who am I to second-guess them?

At this point I'm all in for keeping Cabrera. yup yup monica there is no damn reason why you should replace cabs as i have said before you cant expect a .300 average from every player on your roster. and even when he was batting .220 he had contributed more to the team than hollandsworth had all season and the rbi's that cabs had were big impact hits but i'm not bashing hollandsworth either because he is great off the bench
July 28, 200323 yr What does the date have to do with no trades being made? There were a bunch of trades last week and there are always trades that are made right up until the deadline at whatever time it is on Thursday.
