RockyMountainMarlin
Per Craig Minervini. Leiter will probably be back on the rotation. And we're getting whipped 8-0 so far. :thumbdown
RockyMountainMarlin
rotoworld: Josh Beckett - S - Marlins Josh Beckett left tonight's game in the sixth inning with a blister on his middle finger. A big uh oh. Things were going so well for Beckett this year, but that might be over with now that his blister problems have returned. The Marlins will have to hope this is just an isolated case. We assume Beckett will miss at least one start, putting Al Leiter back into the rotation. Jun. 14 - 9:44 pm et
FreshFish
how in the world does he keeps having this problem? Is this some type of allergies, does he feels his fingers differently before this happens? Was he overthrowing and gripping the ball harder? RockyMountainMarlin
how in the world does he keeps having this problem? 809909[/snapback] I can't blame it on Leeann Tweeden this time around.
CapeFish
Calm down y'all. Humidity was a bit too high and the temp. a bit too low. When you have a cold, humid night...you get blisters. I get them all the time. When you have 69% humidity with 69 degrees, the body has a hard time keeping the skin at the right temperature. He will miss no more than 2 starts. Book it! Also, what's next, is AJ gonna blow out his elbow tomorrow afternoon? :plain
Hotcorner
Josh injured, and now Leiter back in the rotation? Double-whammy. :banghead This would be a nice time for Leiter to get it together, eh?

JPMarlin
I think our offense is starting to come around. We just got beat tonight plain and simple, that Mitre guy was something...We can survive w/o Beckett for 2 starts but if it's more then that we are F&%&^# :banghead
TheMothman
We just got to save runs for other games we win 9-0 in one game then loose the next game 9-0. Our offence scores when we don't need them to anymore instead of when we need them. JP better pick it up cause hes hurting the team
