The_Punisher
If we decide to rid ourselves of Jack McKeon, how about we add Lou Piniella who Tampa will most likely fire cause of his fury. Am I one of a few who think Lou can do a better job with this club than Jack? Or does he lack the patience, our guys are mature enough already, and just need a leader to push them, any thoughts? QuickGold
Why would Lou come here? He only manages in Tampa because he lives there.
Ns2003
The only good thing I see is that his attitude could fire them up, as they need a kick in the ass. But still no thanks.

miguelcabrera2420
We need Joe Torre maybe the Yankees will get rid of him because of the mess in Yankee town. We all know he knows how to raise young talent and get them to interact with them and the veterans. Plus he is like the best at knowing how to deal with great pitchers. Lou sucks he just had great talent and great coaches in seattle now look at him he is no baseball coaching god i think that he should go into broadcasting. rferry
Lou might be a better fit for a veteran team trying to win now, but we have a good manager worthy of a fulfilling his contract.
MarlinGuru
While you're at it, fire Beinfest and hire Beane, trade Cabrera for Burnitz, and send Burnett to the minors. :plain

MarlinsContinueTo ShowDomi
and get Kurt Ojala back too... :-) 810790 That reminds me, whatever happened with his attempt to be a knuckleball pitcher? Is he still playing somewhere in independent leagues or anything?
HanleyDavidson
Piniella is an idiot 810612Â Â well he coaches better than mckeon and its not his fault that the drays have to play the yankees, red soxs and orioles.

Marlins
It's retarded how we always talk about getting rid of people... And if we were to get rid of Jack, which we wouldn't, we wouldn't get Lou--he sucks.

That's right, I said Joe Torre is horrible. Anytime you have a 200+ million dollar payroll and a manager can't find a way to win ball games, something is very wrong.  Steinbrenner: Joe, we lost again tonight. Joe Torre: durrrrr, but how can we lose, we have Derek Jeter   He gets stacked teams every single year filled with countless future hall of famers and all stars and he has a 200 million dollar payroll at his disposal and he STILL can't win, that says a lot about the type of manager he is. Joe Torre is all hype and any of his success was bought, not earned. The logic you used in your second paragraph about Lou Piniella completely 100% applies to Joe Torre.

CyggyMarlin
I don't mind McKeon for the most part. I agreed with his line-up changes to shake up the offense. The only problem I have with jack is leaving in his pitchers too long (see AJ in 7th inning today) and the way he handles the pen.

DogFish
Isnt AJ the same guy who questioned McKeon for taking him out early in his last outing! As for the idiot calling, it usually is the one who calls others idiots. But I understand, kids will be kids.
