Hurricane Katrina's worst to be felt on the Dade-Broward County Line.

Cool,I live just north of North Perry Airport! Wheee!! Hurricane!

you kids are funny.

this storm is like a sneeze compared to the other stuff coming out last year.

tell me about it, but it is still going to create some areas of standing water.

i bet you it doesnt create the type of flooding allison brought though.

Who cares about Texas flooding? I mean god. Don't you get it, Miami is home of the VMAs and no one wants to think about P Diddy trying to navigate through flooded roadways, or imagine the horror of Shakira in a white sheer dress getting caught in the rain and get all wet. Get with the program.

i hope your home gets washed away.

sweeet, what were the winds last year in the storm that hit north of broward and dade... did we feel over 125 mph?

915303[/snapback]

nope, you were at around Tropical Storm/Cat 1 strength last year.

Is it anyone's fault that Houston didn't have the infrastructure to take control of the flood water from a Tropical Storm?

ya most places cant withstand 30 inches of rain like that storm produced.

The hurricanes last year didn't hit us (except Francis sorta got us in North Broward)

still a sneeze, people in south florida got their panties in a wad over those storms, more panty wadders. Just a little wind and rain, unless you live in a shack or some subpar constructed dwelling you are fine.....and besides, this is why you do research and purchase insurance before purchasing said dwelling. (and i'm not talking about hurriance insurance which doesnt exist to my knowledge)

In Florida you buy Wind Storm Insurance and Flood Insurance to cover for a Cane.

Oh BTW Das,

Like San Antonio is that close to the coast. Shut the f*** up.

Just saw WPTV coverage and rush hour in Palm Beach is ugly. Traffic lights falling apart, cars bumper-to-bumper....worst nightmare

OH boy! Cape is getting defensive over this.

Not defensive, just tired of his crap. Das has never named the storms he was in and never said exactly where he was when it passed through.

As he said, Tropical Storm Allison almost ruined Houston with flooding and this storm is a bit stronger and can dump just as much rain. Yet being the hypocrite he is, he says we are getting our knickers wound up over a storm that is stronger than Allison and could dump just as much water over an area with over 100% of the normal rainfall.

BTW, another drop in pressure...it is getting stronger. 5PM coming out soon.

One of my neighbor's new trees is so getting pwned right now.
