CardsJimEdmonds15
Cubs trade Hollandsworth to Braves for a couple minor leaguers. All I know right now. :lol
Craig
Maybe the Cubs will actually call up and play Murton now. He SHOULD play in left for them everyday.

Admin
Too bad this didn't happen a few days ago. :plain 921419 I was thinking the same thing when I heard about it. I wonder if his success will continue in the 6 out of 9 games we have against Atlanta to finish the season.

Craig
outstanding pickup by the Braves 921476 :lol Your quite the jokester Ramp!! Or do you mean that in the way that it's good they picked up a veteran that can't hit, run, or field?
TSwift25
outstanding pickup by the Braves 921476 Just a simple question: why? He won't upgrade Francoeur or Johnson or Jones in the outfield. He isn't a better pinch hitting option than Langerhans or Betemit or LaRoche. To me, this is simply a depth move, but I don't view it as "outstanding."

TheMarlinsWinThe
I think they did it for a vet presence down the stretch... the only position players they have above 30 are Chipper, Julio Franco, Perez (DL.. probably done for year), Brian Jordan (DL.. probably done for year)
Sirspud
Being a part-time Cub fan, except for when they play us, I can tell you that Hollandsworth is doing pretty much awful. In fact, the baserunning play against us was probably his only good play in a month play.
