Ya US Cellular Field is nice, I wish I could get there more often.

The kid took a virtual dump on me and my team post-ALDS as if it was his team that did something, Im just calling him out on that and the way he acted.

I havent bad mouthed any team this post season, not once, do a search if your pea-sized brain can handle it without pming Admin.

Hey, I never said you badmouthed anyone. I didn't know about your little arguement with eachother, I was just saying I thought you might be missing his point on why the kid is excited. Have a beer, settle down, and feast on this little tidbit...

1917-1918 ChiSawx/BoSawx won back to back titles and that was the last titles for each team UNTIL the 2004-2005 BoSawx/ChiSawx won back to back titles...creepy

Stealing Bandwith is a crime!

I personally thought it was cool how Mike Beerleague got a save in game 3.

:lol

I just find this so fitting in terms of the Cubs...a bunch of losers...they have the whole city cheering for them while a second highly capable team plays just a few miles away...but of course that other team is the bastard team that nobody cares about..."lets all stick to the Cubbies"...

well that bastard team just showed your Cubbies what winning a World Championship is like...

I'm no huge White Sox fan, (though I bow in respect to their 2005 dominance :notworthy )...

but Cub fans can kiss my brand new white socks... :mischief

and on a related subject...

Houston Astros = Fluke NL Champs...two years in a row, they make a late surge even though the numbers say they have the talent for NOTHING but a few strong starting pitching outings....then they hit the peak and just fizzle out...

Agreed. I like the Sox because they also hate the Cubs and they let us play at US Cellular when we had Hurricanes screw up our schedule 2 seasons ago. Very cool of them.

That said, I'm off the bandwagon, time for Spring Training.

Its Hermida time. :thumbup

Marlins are NL Champs!!! We've won the last World Series game for the NL.

And eight of the last sixteen, which means the NL has averaged less than two wins in the World Series since 1997. All in all, a tremendous performance by the Sox. Thankfully their fans are nowhere near as obnoxious as their Boston counterparts.

Still a Marlins fan, of course; but back in the early 1990's the White Sox were my team, and Frank Thomas was my favorite player. So, naturally, I'm happy to see them do good.

Passion getting on someone 'cause of jumping on a bandwagon makes baby jesus cry. Dude has 33 favorite sports teams in 22 states.

GO SOX GO DOOK GO AGGIES GO MARLINS GO [insert championship calibur team here] GO!

I, for one, said nothing about a bandwagon (other than the fact FeLo has been all over the Sox in the playoffs...but whatever).

I don't think anybody cares enough for there to be a bandwagon. There probably won't even be one in the city of Chicago.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

How so?

Last year = tons of Red Sox hats in Gainesville, FL

This year = haven't seen a White Sox one.

Not a bit of a championship "bandwagon." Nobody cares.

That was me overgeneralizing just how much of Chicago is Cubs fans.

Congrats White Sox fans! What a great series to follow as much as I couldn't watch it. Great game last night. Thanks for giving us a great run of solid baseball with great pitching.

meh, a lot of northside Cubs fans like em because its the hip thing to do. Lot of yuppies in Wrigleyville. Sox fans are much more blue collar.

The parade was nuts. Packed the streets. Everywhere I go on the southside I see sox celebration in some form. The buildings have only lights on that end up spelling Sox. Its pretty nuts. This isnt remotely close to how S. Florida treats the Marlins. Plus a lot of Sox fans are in the suburbs also.

Ok, so after reading this now I'm curious. FeLo, if you grew up watching the White Sox, and your dad is a Sox fan, why are you a Reds fan?

I dunno, because I liked Griffey growing up, then when I watched him with the Reds the Reds just stuck with me. If Griffey leaves I will still be a Reds fan.
