What was the best day of your life?

Featured Replies

Probably asked before but I'll ask again.

What was the best day of your life and why do you consider it so?

Mine was the day I was interviewed on FSN. to see that click this link -- http://www.marlinbaseball.com/fsnAdmin.WMV (credit to CapeFish for recording it)

It was recognition for the site, and all it's members especially those who have been here since everything started way back. I was also proud of myself for not making a fool out of myself and being super nervous on TV as shocking as that was. I'm sure some of you who signed up after that day do not even know this took place.

June 7th, 2003.

The day I escaped boarding school, and returned to normalcy.

It was the last day of the season for my highschool baseball team and it was probably my last at bat of the season, and I remember it like it was yesterday. The pitcher was trying to jam me inside but he kept missing his spots, and then when he finally did hit his spot...well He Gone! Yep it went over a 20 foot high fence that was 324 feet away. I didn,t even see it go over, but i knew I hit it well. As i was rounding 1st base i heard the first base coach say holy s***, and when i looked up the left and center fielders were just standing at the base of the fence so then thats when i knew i had hit my first homerun. Then i slowed down to a trot and trust me i enjoyed it...(i was tginking about doing a kirk gibson or joe carter trot but i though that would be a little over board). But when i got to home plate i did a jeter and jumped onto the plate into the mob of my teamates, and then they did the whole pat you on the helmet and the back... it was like i just hit a walkoff homer or something.

aaaahhh the memories....that was the BEST day of my life!

p.s. if you want to see the homerun swing just look at the pic in my avatar...its the pic right before it says rorod

That sounds like a great story

i dont have one. :confused

The day that I found out that the lumps in my neck weren't cancerous. Nothing like a scare with lymphoma to make you appreciate life.

I don't have one anymore :confused

The day you signed up here :hat

Actually, I'm going to say the day that Lindsey broke up with me.

It hurt me deep, way too deep. It was a red flag to me that I had my priorities wrong. I started going back to church and joined a few Christian fellowship groups. The last two months started out terribly, but now I finally feel like I have a purpose for once.

It hasn't happened yet.

But for now, I'll say May 4, 2002. I'd just graduated college, bought a new car, and my sister got married and I got stupid at the reception and got to see my mom dancing to Nappy Roots. Good times.

Got a couple...

4-4-05, the day I started dating my girlfriend

4-21-04, the day I first set foot in Israel, albeit for a week

6-8-03.

Hey, was that the day we first met? I have a fuzzy recollection, being all love struck.

I guess could be sappy and say the first time I met my girlfriend but I have no idea when that was.

Could go for Dec. 22, 2002 when we first started dating.

Honestly probably anything we have done together could be considered my best day. Lotta good memories in 3 years.

First, my life isn't over yet- so I'm looking forward to more great things.

All three are Tied for #1 The birth of my son and daughter, and 4-7-84- my wedding anniversary

#2 February 3, 1978 The day my future husband and I had our first date.

May 7, 1980

The day I killed my boss, stuffed him in a 55 gallon drum, and buried him off the east end of the parking lot at Giants Stadium.

shhh! don't tell anyone.

Jimmy Hoffa!

Well I haven't had a great day by itself, maybe a good life. I was all-american in college returning kicks, I helped out in the discovery of the guys at Watergate, I fought in Vietnam and got the Medal of Honor, ran all over the country, owned a shrimp boat, had a child, and some movie was made after me, I guess it hasn't been bad. Only setback is I'm slightly retarded.
