December 5, 200520 yr We had a bumpy flight and at one point lost altitude due in part to iced over wings. That was the scariest moment of my life especially because of the pilot being so quiet about it and somber sounding Pic of wing:

December 5, 200520 yr Author Funny though the pilot actually was a sub. Our original pilot was stuck in Orlando so this guy said he was going home for the day but volunteered to stick around so we wouldn't be stuck in NY.

December 5, 200520 yr I've had the experience of ice on the wings. Very scary feeling. We're not talking about hockey here :lol
