December 22, 200520 yr I would have to say X-Men 3, although I'm also interested to see if Daniel Craig can fill the shoes left by Pierce Brosnan, as Agent 007.
December 22, 200520 yr Right now it's Curious George. Not kidding. Of those I'd have to go with The Pink Panther. He was really a childhood favorite of mine. That, and the other movies have holes. I am pumped about Casino Royale, that's for sure. X-Men 3 I'm not in a hurry to see because Gambit isn't in a big role, I smell a flop in The Da Vinci Code (too soon me thinks), and Miami Vice might be the biggest destruction of a TV Show by a movie ever. Worst possible casting for those roles in the history of existence. Still haven't seen the first POTC and Superman movies were never that amazing to me. This might change though, we'll see. Not a bad list though it does look flawed.
December 22, 200520 yr None of those. My own personal movie I'm anticipating is either Idiocracy (Mike Judge's latest film; creator of Office Space and Beavis and Butthead) or PT Anderson's new joint (my friend has been raving about it since he started filming and invited her on set).
December 22, 200520 yr Im a sucker for my hometown, i can't wait to see Miami Vice on the big screen, even though I hate Collin Farrell Im a big fan of Jamie Foxx
December 22, 200520 yr i'm pretty sure there are some big ones you're leaving out, but of those I'd say POTC2. Like Miri, I have been patiently awaiting the answer to one of the world's longest ongoing questions: Where has all the rum gone?
December 22, 200520 yr I would say Harry Potter, but I'm fairly certain that isn't due until mid 2007. And Spidey is 2007 as well, I believe.
December 22, 200520 yr I've got to go with The Da Vinci Code followed by Superman Returns. I am a Smallville fan with a childhood fondness for the Christopher Reeves Superman movies so you can understand. My hope is that this movie is a little less campy and more along the direction that Batman Begins took. As much as I like Steve Martin, he is not Peter Sellers and I just can't see him doing Inspector Clouseau justice. With that said, Shawn Levy can't hold Blake Edwards' jock. He hasn't directed a single movie worth seeing yet.
December 22, 200520 yr Out of these choices I'd say Da Vinci code, even though I wasn't as big a fan of the book as most people
December 22, 200520 yr I've been a Mission Impossible since I saw the first one for the first time. Definatly the one I'm looking forward to the most.
December 22, 200520 yr got go with the divinci code. i too have neva read the book but yet am very facianated by story of what the divinci code actually..... anything the ?'s relegion is an intersting subject....+ How many times has Tom Hanks made a bad movie??????? im the only one who is not impressed by the Superman Movie? it looks lame....... X3 and MI 3....... have BLOCK BUSTERS written all ova dem..... Pink Panther looks funny..... I like underworld so this one should be just as good or even better..... What the f*** is Cars?
December 22, 200520 yr I'm big on superhero flicks so it's a toss up between Superman Returns and X-Men 3....but Pirates 2 and Da Vinci Code are up there as well.
December 23, 200520 yr I hate their choice of the new Bond. Go see L43r Cake to see what I mean... Blonde Bond [shakes head] The Da Vinci Code is a good book and looks to be well cast. Some people were upset with the casting of Tom Hanks saying he was too old to play the hero role - obviously NONE of them have read the book. He's a college professor for goodness sake! Much more believable than Harrison Ford as Indy [bless his heroic sole]. Anyway, I?m looking forward to MI3 also.
December 23, 200520 yr I'm definately interested in Superman Returns followed by X-Men 3. I want to see if Bryan Singer can carry over what he accomplished with the first two X-Men movies and create a great Superman film.
