March 6, 200620 yr with the fish playing Houston, Mets, SD, WSH, Cinn, Phi, Cubs and Col in the month of April (24 Games)... How many wins will the fish get? I say 6 wins in the month of April...a hugh difference from last years guess but considering everything, this is my guess.
March 6, 200620 yr I am going to say 11-13. Because Washington isn't very good, Colorado is worse, and Cinci is Cinci. We should be able to win 6-7 games there alone. And I am counting on not getting swept in any of these series outside of the three previous stated.
March 6, 200620 yr I think they'll get off to a decent start. I see the slog, if you will, starting about mid-May, once better scouting is generated and the initial spark wears off for some of these young guys. I'll go with 12 wins.
March 6, 200620 yr Most of the games are on the road...in extreme hitters parks...just keep that in mind. If this team gets off to a fast start, I see no reason why they can't stay hot, but that first week (Houston and then New York) could rattle them before even getting to the home opener, and then it's back on the road to Cincy, Philly and Chicago. They play 24 games in April. They could as easily go 18-6 as they could 6-18, it all depends on if they get rattled early and how they respond.

March 6, 200620 yr I'm gonna go with 9 wins. I think this team will go through a period where the guys that were in the minors last year will stuggle adjusting to big league pitching and hitting. I guess you can compare it to what the A's went through early on in the season.

I guess you can compare it to what the A's went through early on in the season. that's exactly what will happen, but I think some of the A's players were a bit closer than ours. Quite a few of those guys had a decent amount of service time before being thrown into the fire.
