Ok, so if/when we clinch, what is everyone's celebration plans?

 

I would like to spray Joe with a nice shaken up bottle of seltzer. Hey, we're both underage here! Him especially.

 

Also, planning on doing alot of jumping up and down and running around the house.

 

Needless to say, I'm going to be crazier than usual when this is sealed up.

 

Oh yeah and my Marlins sleeveless home jersey will be on while the game is on.

 

How about you? Any ideas?

I'm going to be calling home every 15 minutes for updates from work and when/if we clinch, I plan on breaking out the Marlins cap and wearing it the rest of the night with my uniform, probably also go out to the car and play "Bang on the Drums All Day" for a bit. One of the greater celebration songs of all time.

 

I was hoping we'd clinch tonight just so I'd be at home and could act like more of an a**.

i dunno but its going to be awesome. lol omg i need to watch sports center tomorrow to see if the clip of me on TV makes it to the intro. i would die. it would be my defining moment as a fan. my family is going to be at the game tomorrow but i have work. at least ESPN plays nonstop in the store. i'll be home in time to watch the game. as for celebrating i am not yet sure what i am going to do. I will be at 2 playoff games (need to make new signs. rain destroyed the ones we had today) but the ones i cant go to i'll watch from Banana Joes with the rest of the marlins watch party goers.

Did you know it's possible that the Marlins will have the wild card clinched before the game starts tomorrow night? The wild card will be clinched with a Marlins win or a loss by either the Cubs or Astros. Well, the Cubs play the Pirates at 3:20 tomorrow. Mark Prior is pitching against Josh Fogg, and Im hoping the Cubs win so the Marlins clinch on their own.

prior will not lose.

 

 

if the cubs lose a game this weekend its the game wood and prior do not start.

so that would be Clement's start?

 

anyway, the Burnett jersey will be on tomorrow for school....

 

i may purchase some $5 champagne to run around and spray everyone i know....

im probably going to watch the game with my grandpa like we did in '97. in '97 i actually jumped on his back when they won game 7 and the NLCS, i probably wont do that this time because i dont want to kill him (im 6 years older and 60 lbs heavier)

I wish I could see the celebration! The highlights better cover it well. Damn FSNY is not going to show any of it.

I won't be able to see or attend the WC celebrations :banghead . Getting family to Disney this weekend. However, I believe there will be bigger celebrations coming this year

I work with a bunch of damn Dodger loving losers in suits and I've been walking around work all morning with my MARLINS jersey on.

 

I really don't know what I'm going to do for celebrations though, no one I know around here is that big of a marlin fan. You'd think we'd have a few here with the isotopes but w/e.

when considering the town i can never spell properly was the dodgers triple A affilate for many..many years...it makes some sense i guess.

 

 

give the marlins a few years...fans will convert.

 

 

especially when names that pass through there make it to the show and become stars.
