July 3, 200620 yr I know for sure in the years 2000's they haven't but what about the 1990's? I know it a big park that they play at so it is hard to show their skill to attend but did anyone ever play the Home Run Derby in a Marlins Uniform? If they did, how did they fair?
July 3, 200620 yr Author Have the competitors in this year's been announced yet? I think its the top 5 HR leaders from each league. Only Sheffield has. 1996, he had no homers I'm not sure if hearing "no Marlins has ever reach the Home Run Derby" is better then hearing that sad news.

July 3, 200620 yr Its not determined by top 5 in each league. Not all of those guys will even be at the all-star game. They announced 6 of the 8 participants on the selection show, but i dont remember them.

July 3, 200620 yr I'd rather that Marlins players never appear in the HR derby. It messes up their swings and hearing Chris Berman say "BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK" and "He hit it to *insert neighboring town/road/city here*!!!!". Hopefully our rivals all do really well and it screws up their swings for a few months.
