At this rate look like it going to be:

AL

  • J Thome CWS 27 HR
  • D Ortiz BOS 26 HR *Remember him :mischief
  • J Giambi NYY 24 HR
  • T Glaus TOR 22 HR *3 way tie
  • T Hafner CLE 22 HR
  • M Ramirez BOS 22 HR *Remember this guy too :mischief

NL

  • R Howard PHI 28 HR
  • A Pujols STL 27 HR *After that injury he can still qualify :o
  • A Dunn CIN 26 HR
  • C Lee MIL 25 HR *Sorry, but this is not Derrek Lee
  • A Soriano 24 HR

Our closest guy to reach the Home Run Derby is

Drum Roll

UGGLA AND CABRERA!!!! :notworthy

Both rank 24 in HR in the NL with 13. :plain

One of them going have to hit 11 HR in just 8 games assuming that Soriano get in a slump or an injury so we get to see one of our player at the tournament this year. So good luck guys. :thumbdown

It would be cool to see a Marlin there yea but Uggla? He wouldnt have a prayer against any of those guys

Well he may not win, but am sure he'll hit some. Little guy has more pop than you think bro! :lol

I'm sure he can beat our franchise Derby HR record.

Hmm, now I got another thing that I wonder, has any Marlins player ever offer or accept a HR challenge?

I'd rather that Marlins players never appear in the HR derby. It messes up their swings and hearing Chris Berman say "BACK BACK BACK BACK BACK" and "He hit it to *insert neighboring town/road/city here*!!!!".

Hopefully our rivals all do really well and it screws up their swings for a few months.
