September 11, 200619 yr I like that lineup a lot. Helms is like a wet dream off the bench for any manager.
September 11, 200619 yr :banghead :plain what? Amezaga? If so, I would like to see someone else out there too, but it's not like we've got anybody on the bench that could fill that role who is any good. When people are calling for Chris Aguila to get playing time you know our CF situation is not good right now.

September 11, 200619 yr Ugh I hate to see Amezzy but it's better then throwing a cold Reggie in there when we are in contention. At this point we really have no choice although I would rather see. Hammer - Ross - Borchard Left to right. Especially during this series against Lefties. Looks like the Mets are bringing out all the big guns. Even gimpy Cornelious
September 11, 200619 yr Read the sig folks. Unfortunately Amezaga is the only guy we can throw in there. I wouldn't be against Borchard--but damn, Borch, Ross and Olivo in order like that could be some serious problems.
September 11, 200619 yr Where is Jacobs? Jacobs isn't in the lineup because the Mets pitcher is a lefty, I assume.
September 11, 200619 yr Unfortunately Amezaga is the only guy we can throw in there. No, he's not. correct.
September 11, 200619 yr Unfortunately Amezaga is the only guy we can throw in there. No, he's not. Yessir I already stated that Borch could be put in, but having Ross, Olivo and Borchard really scares me. They all can go on serious cold streaks.
September 11, 200619 yr I am NOT an Amezaga supporter. But like I said, unfortunately we have no other choice. At least Amezaga brings speed to the bottom of the lineup where Borchard could just bring a dead bat with zero speed. *optimism*

Borchard, Aguila, and Abercrombie are all better options than Amezaga. It doesn't matter how bad the above are. They are a better option than Amezaga as a righty.
September 11, 200619 yr I don't even now why I'm trying to support Amezaga, I don't like him whatsoever. But I'm finally starting to see the serious hate some of you have. LoL I wouldn't be against starting Abs, but everyone else on this board would.
September 11, 200619 yr i love amezega against righties. he's been a godsend. but please try something new against lefties in center. who knows...maybe he gets it going though.

Don't you still complain when that guy is hitting .300?
September 12, 200619 yr I already stated that Borch could be put in, but having Ross, Olivo and Borchard really scares me. They all can go on serious cold streaks. or hot streaks....
