Hollyberry
Anibal had another great game. Another :thumbup for Anibal tonight. I'll take 8 IP, 2 ER's anyday. Think what next year has in store for the starting pitchers :drool . JJ, Noly, Anibal, Olsen and Willis. Thoughts.
CyggyMarlin
Improve the offense (CF) and bullpen for next year, and this team will kick major ass

Eventhough this year is not over yet I cant wait for next year. I feel like we are going to be so much better. This offseason we need to add a good CF'er and atleast 2 quality arms in the pen. CyggyMarlin
The real question is: how many teams will dump major salary and adopt the Marlins' philosophy of young talent, low payroll?

It would be pretty cool to see that from like the Pirates or the Royals, the Cubs wouldn't do it, they just don't seem to care about anything but drawing fans
pierremvp1
Anibal had another good outing tonite....and our offense ran into a pitcher having a good game. . . It was our defense that cost us this game.
Hollyberry
Anibal Sanchez vs. Left: .219 vs. Right: .187 It would be amazing if those lefty numbers when down in the 1's :drool .

MarlinatPenn
I'm worried about the sophomore slump ala Willis, ala Vargas, for the starters next season. At this point, I'd shut down Olsen, Johnson, Nolasco and Sanchez. Maybe even Willis.

Marlins2003
The consolation for me, in our recent losses is that we're not getting blown out, and were competitively played games that came to down a runs or so in the last few innings, certainly something to build on for next year (and not precluding the rest of this one). That's what happened to Orlando Magic last year so many losses that should have been wins and that prevented them from reaching the playoffs. Hopefully that will not be the case with this team. CyggyMarlin
We should start a who needs to be replaced / added thru trade (or free agency) thread after the season... I'd nominate removing Herges and Messenger from the pen
