October 1, 200619 yr i was bored so i thought about pitching and i came up wit tanks good arm why doesnt he become a sp i made a mistake on q#5 instead of stop it is spot
October 1, 200619 yr Author NO WAY Tank becomes a starter. at least some one answers. how about a closer
October 1, 200619 yr Our Starter ERA : 4.22 (NL #3) Reliever ERA : 4.72 (NL #14 -> almost bottom) You know... Carlos Martinez and Logan Kensing take a "season out" surgery in 2006. so, We must confirm a helpful reliever. It might be serious problem in off-season.
October 1, 200619 yr we have enough starters..0% chance he's a starter next year. He's had a great year in the 'pen and might be our closer next year, depends on if we pick up someone in the offseason.
October 1, 200619 yr 2007: Kensing 7th, Tank 8th K-Mart closes Kensing and Martinez will not be useful until 2008.
October 1, 200619 yr Gaby Hernandes, Chris Volstad, Sean West... They are waiting for a chance that as a starter. So, We need a Dominant Reliever, not a starter.
October 1, 200619 yr we have a lot more trouble finding good relievers than closers or starters. let him do what he's doing, because that's where we need him and a few others.
October 1, 200619 yr No need. We have enough depth in our bullpen. Maybe if we make a trade he'll have a 10% chance of making the rotation. Since being drafted I've always seen him as nothing more than a VERY GOOD reliever.
October 1, 200619 yr Please NEVER bring this up again. Tank is made for the pen, the fact that the pen is the most difficult thing to mould is why we need him there. Our rotation is great, why would you want to experiment with a successful rotation? If he were to replace anybody, I would say Nolasco not because he sucks (cause he doesn't at all), but because he is flexible in the pen and rotation.
October 1, 200619 yr Setup man unless we don't aquire a closer like the past years. I just don't see him as a starter as all, because then ur weakening ur bullpen and taking someone out of a role they have gotten used to. Tank has gotten very good experience from this year and he has proved to be consistent.
