get a proxy server and you can use mlb.tv to watch local games. i did it last year, it was kind of a pain in the arse to do, but definitely worth it.

This pisses me off. I purposely skipped my class to see the first pitch and watch the whole game. I've been anitcipating this day for a loooong time. I'm so angry.

May I say that FSN can go to hell for placing the opener on Sun Sports knowing they have a dispute and Comcast can to hell for being so cheap as not to pay for the additional games.

 

I'll be going home once April is done, but when I come back in the Fall....Comcast won't be getting my business.

The bars only seem to use the dishes for NFL games. Everything else is Comcast.

 

I'm listening on XM...but I need to figure out how I am going to be able to get a Dish signal in here past the trees once the fall comes.

 

I could always get a SlingBox at home hooked up.....except my room has a Dish 322 which is not located in the same room as the TV.

im in miami and i cant see alot of miami heat games at times.... since i only have basic cable.... my friend has 3 sunsports and i only got one... and there has been a bunch of games i havent been able to see because comcast decided to not air it.....

 

oh well.... i was only watchin heat games since there were no marlins games to watch on tv......

We have Dish Network in Cape Coral. My dad is enjoying the game on it back at home. I'm stuck in Tallahassee for the rest of April with about 2-3 games a week missing on the schedule.

 

If you can get Dish Network, I recommend them. You can get Dish Network from EMBARQ and EMBARQ gives you $5 off your phone bill.

I also wanted to watch the game, but I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to see it. I'm unfortunately watching a dull TB-Stankees game on FSN.

I think I found a spot out in the yard where it may be clear enough to get a Dish signal.

 

For the fall I will have to get a Dish installed.....Comcast just doesn't cut it.

Comcast only bought the extra games in Metro South Florida. Outside of there, only Dish Network and DirecTV have the games if you don't have Verizon's FiOs.

 

Comcast dropped the ball here.

 

Good news is that tomorrow night's game should be on FSN Florida as scheduled for everyone that gets FSN Florida.

BW3 always got the Baseball package and Marlins games when I was there. We didnt even have FSN when I was therem so thats a step forward. Ill be back either this year or next for law school and will then start to hate Comcast again.

 

I just spoke to someone in Tallahasee, he watched at BW3, they have always had the package. They didnt have the game on Sun Sports, but do have Extra Innings.

They blacked it out? Which package do you have? I thought DirecTV only had the extra 55 for those with TotalChoice Plus or something like that.

Then there was something wrong with your dish because I watched the whole game tonight (I TiVo'ed the game). Remember, when DirecTV shows the game on SunSports, it isn't necessarily on Channel 632, its sometimes on another channel (sometimes 635).
