April 8, 200719 yr well, glad we scored twice in the 8th. Jorge Julio looks bad. speaking of bad...what about Dan Uggla?
April 8, 200719 yr great game...uggla yeh bad is def. a good word for what hes doing julio suckss whos a backup 2b incase he keeps this up
April 8, 200719 yr Josh Willingham>All and yea, it's early with Uggla but not that surprising(albeit 2/20 is surprising)
April 8, 200719 yr Uggla looks like he is pressing it too much. He needs to let it come to him. Julio meh, we have to stick with him for now. The rest of the game? Amazing! Offense is clicking and Dontrelle did a good job after those three runs. I'm confident that we will take the series tomorrow.
April 8, 200719 yr whose the backup options wood and amezega? There won't be any. After Uggla's rookie season he will atleast get to the ASB
April 8, 200719 yr Author id have Uggla start uggly then do this in July or the later months when we could be in a race. id rather have Uggla*
April 8, 200719 yr I didn't listen to any of the game (Except for the 9th). I saw that De Aza got two hits.. Any info on those hits (Bloops, line drives? ) Oh and congrats to Hammer... Good game.
April 8, 200719 yr Dontrelle proved once again why he is in fact, the man. Getting into trouble, then getting out of it. He shows a lot of heart out there. Yeah Alejandro made that fielding error (as costly as it was), but he is a rookie... and offensively he's certainly an upgrade than what we had last year. I like him. I like him more when he's on base! Uggla... man you gotta snap out of it. I don't know what his problem is, but I think with him you leave him alone and he'll do his thing. As for Borchard.... just get well soon Hermida! I'm waiting to be impressed with Julio. :confused
April 8, 200719 yr No offense, but you guys are really jumping the gun on Uggla...It's the fourth friggin game! A four game bad spurt barely qualifies as a slump - let's not get too far ahead of ourselves here.
April 8, 200719 yr Yeah Alejandro made that fielding error (as costly as it was), but he is a rookie... nothing to do with being a rookie.... he took a terrible angle on the ball
April 8, 200719 yr Author You think people in Philly are a little concerned with Ryan Howard? Howard and Utley 2-10 tonight....not bad to say from the Marlins standpoint.
April 8, 200719 yr You think people in Philly are a little concerned with Ryan Howard? if they are, they're morons
April 8, 200719 yr You think people in Philly are a little concerned with Ryan Howard? Howard and Utley 2-10 tonight....not bad to say from the Marlins standpoint. Howard is 0-10 with RISP now I believe too but he'll turn it around... just hopefully not tomorrow.
April 8, 200719 yr My thoughts- say no to Julio (just release the guy and admit that it was a stupid deal.) - De Aza is showing more at the plate than any of us could have predicted. The ballsy move is certainly paying off and he's been a spark at the bottom of the lineup.
April 8, 200719 yr Uggla just doesnt seem in a rhythm yet, he's pressing/lunging after pitches. Jorge Julio? OK i can see a pitcher having an off day but he always has an off day and he never rebounds from it.
April 8, 200719 yr Pujols is hitting .059 too I'm not worried about Uggla It was feeling better. :shifty
April 8, 200719 yr I didn't listen to any of the game (Except for the 9th). I saw that De Aza got two hits.. Any info on those hits (Bloops, line drives? ) Oh and congrats to Hammer... Good game. One of them he ripped a double to left field. Didn't see the other one. He looks good at the plate. How long until Reggie gets called up and plays in RF over Borchard? haha im kidding............well kinda..
