April 25, 200719 yr First of all, before all you blowhards who are going to come in here and say something witty like "if your so smart, why aren't you the manager", I have two words for you.... anyway What is Fredi thinking? Earlier in the game, he walks Brian McCann to get to the hottest hitter in the NL in Jeff Francoeur. It worked, but it was a retarded move. Then in the 8th inning, Ryan Langerhans was 2 for 34 and 0 for his last 24. And we walked him to load the bases for a pesky hitter in Pete Orr. Anyone?

April 25, 200719 yr as soon as i saw this move i slammed my forehead on various objects. I had absolutely no clue was Fredi was thinking at that moment. I'm pretty sure casual baseball fans could have called that one
April 25, 200719 yr I am guessing he was looking for a force out at any base. Who cares. Randy is the one who threw the meatball.
April 25, 200719 yr MICO-MANAGER. intentional bb's with a team that can't throw strikes is dumb. Especially when u walk someone hitting .056 and walk to face the other teams hottest hitter. Good God, sad.

I have no clue with those moves. . . with that said. It seems like every fricking count was 3-2, and we payed for it. btw, if your so smart, why aren't you the manager?
April 25, 200719 yr that was a pretty boneheaded decision. you only need one out and the hitter at the plate has really been struggling ... doesn't make any sense. i blame fredi for what happened, and our starters. this is what happens to a bullpen when they are overworked. these starters need to start going into the 7th, 8th innings. expect more bullpen implosions so long as the starters only go 3-4 innings.

April 25, 200719 yr someone needs to come and slap these pitchers around. how soon can we get jack down?

April 25, 200719 yr Fredi Gonzalez is an idiot and Rick Kranitz has no idea how to fix our base on balls problem.
April 25, 200719 yr Fredi Gonzalez is an idiot and Rick Kranitz has no idea how to fix our base on balls problem. we had the same problem with the rotation early last season. hopefully these kids turn it around soon. on a bright note, our boys can rake.

April 25, 200719 yr Would "He wasnt thinking" be a reasonable response? no. he's paid to think. so, no.
April 25, 200719 yr Would "He wasnt thinking" be a reasonable response? well that would be unacceptable considering that's his job, and pitching to someone batting .056 doesn?t require much thought
April 25, 200719 yr hopefully that's it for Vandenhurk, I have no idea what he was doing up here anyway. Props to Lee Gardner who at least ate up 4 innings tonight.
