October 17, 200322 yr I can honestly say that I am living a dream right now. I just learned today that I am sitting 4 rows from the field - next to the Marlins dugout tomorrow night (Saturday) in Yankee Stadium. I will be 3 rows up from Jeffrey Loria and company. I will take lots of photos and post them afterwards. I will be wearing the official Marlins teal jersey and I will be holding a sign that reads: GO FISH! ON FOX (not sure that will come out right on the post) I can not believe this is my life right now..............dream come true.

October 17, 200322 yr congratulations christy. going to the most historic ballpark in history to watch your team play in the World Series? sounds like a dream to me only yours is coming true
October 17, 200322 yr Nice job, you got some damn good seats. Looks like it's bleachers or nothing for me right now.
October 17, 200322 yr Thanks everyone. I am very excited. The sign is made - every letter is teal except for the F's O's and X's (they are black) - I wanted Fox's attention and this should just about do it!!!!!!!! I did add the Marlinsbaseball.com plug as well! GO MARLINS!!!!!!!!!
October 17, 200322 yr Congratulations, Christy. I thought Yankee Stadium was amazing when I went there in july to watch a meaningless blue jays/yankees game. But being there for a world series game in which your favorite team is playing, in the 4th row, that's simply incredible. Have a good time!!
October 17, 200322 yr CHRISTYTOD: You are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky... But be warned about Yankees fans, they will get in your face when they score... I was at the O's / Yankees game where Jack Cust fell down in front of home plate in the 12th inning and Camden Yards was full of Yanks fans..They constantly got in Orioles fans faces when the team scored, they constantly chanted "Yankees" non-stop, and they stayed after the game to jeer at Orioles fans as they left the stadium....
October 17, 200322 yr Hey Cyggy!!!!! Can you believe where we are after all these years? This is so amazing!!!!!! About the Yankees fans, I have been to interleague Marlins vs. Yanks games there before and I have found the fans to be very classy. I have no worries about that. I just hope we kick their ever loving a**es!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO MARLINS!
October 17, 200322 yr Am I the longest tenured yankee fan on this marlins board?? I know I followed a couple of you guys here from the defunct stands...
October 18, 200322 yr Hey Cyggy!!!!! GO MARLINS! Would be really cool if I could find a way into Yankee Stadium for Game 1... After sitting thru the fire-sale, those 90-100+ losing seasons, and the John Henry era, this is absolutely great and where is Henry now...watching the World Series at home.... :mischief Imagine if he woulda spent money here instead of Boston..oh well, his loss....
October 18, 200322 yr That's the sweetest part about the Marlins going to the World Series. John Henry sitting at home. I'll bet he's really steaming!
October 18, 200322 yr I got tickets to the game too. I am sitting in monument park. I hope its ok to see through the glass. If not I can just walk around the stadium with my dontrell shirt looking for empty seats
October 18, 200322 yr If not I can just walk around the stadium with my dontrell shirt looking for empty seats Yeah, good luck with that... There wont be an empty seat in the house!
October 18, 200322 yr Am I the longest tenured yankee fan on this marlins board?? I know I followed a couple of you guys here from the defunct stands... probably. i think you should start some contests though in off topic.
October 18, 200322 yr Thats not true. Do you know how many tickets are being sold on ebay or by one of the brokers? I know the stadium is sold out, but a sell out never means that actually everyone shows up.
October 19, 200322 yr Just got home from New York - wow - what a whirlwind --- and WHAT A GAME!!!!!! I was so proud. There were some other Marlins fans there as well which was nice to see. We were our own little 'community', feeling as if we knew each other when passing by. My seats ended up being 8 rows back from the dugout - Row D, they have 2 A's, 2B's, 2C's and then 2D's - I was in the 2nd "D". Not too shabby, but I wasn't as close to Loria as I wanted to be. I wanted to meet and THANK him for a wonderful dream come true season, but I didn't want to bother him. He was sitting 7 rows in front of me. I took pictures - if any are post-worthy, I'll put them through. I should have them back later today! GO MARLINS!
October 19, 200322 yr In AIM chat last night, we were looking out for you for most of the game!!! Did get to see you, but it was a great game and it must have been a great thrill for you to watch it at Yankees Stadium!!! :wow Whenever you can, please show us the pics that you took! I'm really interested in seeing Yankees Stadium from a fans perspective!! :thumbup
