August 22, 200719 yr Mando doesn't = Julio, but fact remains we could have still won the game regardless of the error if he didn't put up gopher balls. Also Molina moved from second to third because Mando wasn't backing up Treanor. That play didn't end up making a difference, but it could have.

August 22, 200719 yr Mando is a pos period. Some people on this forum cry about errors a little to much. Hanley made a dumb play, but Armando didnt make anything better. I think ill take Hanley's errors while hes young, and the bat that he carries. Same reason Armando got booed out of SF. I'm surprised noone blamed Hermida for his throw home yet...

My thoughts exactly. Infielders mess up all of the time, especially the Marlins infielders. Our offense is good enough that we can play from the tie. Unfortunately Benitez had different plans after the error and did not keep the Marlins in the game. The game does not end after the error. But Benitez's job that night would have.
