Featured Replies

i have trouble sleeping at night.. my parents would tell me to go to sleep at like 12... and i would lie in bed and not be able to sleep till like... 3 to 4 am... sometimes 5.. and then i wouldnt wake up till like... late into the next day..

and well... since school is starting soon for me.. this will really affect everything..

so.. yea.. i need help..

any hints/ suggestions to help me sleep earlier?

yeah, stop joining random messageboards at 3 in the morning to post about how you cant figure out why youre not asleep.

first 2 posts are about stupid personal problems, weird.

I used to take sleeping pills back in high school and they really help. Go to GNC or Walgreens and pick up a bottle of Melatonin.

Do something that works up a sweat and then, after you're finished, you'll be tired enough to go to sleep.

Are you lying awake thinking about things? Mulling over what happened during the day? What you need to do tomorrow?

Try reading a while before going to sleep. Get into bed and read. You'll fall asleep soon enough. Stay off the coffee and soda- both have caffeine and will keep you buzzing.

I don't sleep well at night, either. I usually just keep rolling over and over until it's time to get up. Sometimes it's for no reason, sometimes it's because I'm worrying about something. And if I'm not 110% comfortable, I won't sleep.

I took sleeping pills when I was sick a few weeks ago. Didn't do a thing for me. It was weird. \

Anyone know of a sleeping pill that you don't have to sleep 8 hours on? I'm in HS, and the only time that I'm able to sleep 8 hours is on the weekends.

I have no problem going to sleep.

Running your butt off, or working like a dog for about five hours should help your sleep problem.

Over the summer I worked in Naples from 8 a.m - 3 a.m......you heard me right. And still had trouble sleeping when I got home, even though I was physically dead.

Atleast he didn't post it in the Chat thread like certain individuals.

lol look like I'm awake again at 2am in the morning. And to think that I only slept for 4 hrs from 6am-10am last night, will make me drowsy, but I'm still awake to make it to 6am again. :lol :

Okay, since it takes you 3-4 hours to get to sleep, go to sleep at 9 and youll fall asleeps at like 12-1. Or just do something, play some hoops or whatever. Since you dont do anything, youre not tired so you dont fall assleep. Get a life and friends and do something.

Worst...advice...ever.

You're not in the lay in bed all day and you're bound to luck into a few hours of sleep camp?

Masturbate furiously for as long you can and repeat process 3-4 times and then pass out.
