Admin
The official diagnosis is a hyperextended right knee for Dontrelle Willis. Willis was injured while slipping on the mound in the first inning of Friday's game. Aquilino Lopez replaced him against the White Sox. ---RotoWorld.com
miami15
Dammit, I'm really rooting for him to have a healthy and fun season. Poor guy.
Joe Girardi
Good thing Willis got his $29M 3 yr contract before blowing up this season.
juanpierre
he blew up last season. Dam man, I love the guy, I wish he could just regain his 2004 form
gomarlins9703
Before the injury:Â Walked the only 2 batters he faced. He's been awful, just awful.

Rabbethan
Damn. He might not wear teal anymore, but I still love the D-Train.
gomarlins9703
It was horrifying watching him pitch on Baseball Tonight. His first pitch was a mile outside and he was not anywhere near the plate. His delivery is awful. It's mechanical and has absolutely no flow to it what so ever. He?s trying to guide the ball in. Also, he's put on a fair amount of weight. Â I think he could use a stint on the DL because he looked nowhere near ready to pitch. He's less than a shadow of his former self.
Erick
I hope he's ok, but remember I told you guys, he'd suck this year. I know I wasn't the only one either.
The_Godfather
Dontrelle is done. Steve Avery was always his best comp and I think that is his future. I love him too, and he gave us some of the most exciting pitching we have ever had, but he is done. Â Glad he got his money.
Admin
The problem with Dontrelle has always been that his unorthodox delivery has always been a major contributor to his success. That is always dangerous territory for a pitcher. Best of luck to him, though.
