July 18, 200817 yr Who are they? Dallas McPherson at third...Gaby Sanchez is a first-base prospect with a much longer way to go than McPherson. Cantu might be the first baseman of the near future, with Dallas taking over third.
July 18, 200817 yr Next Year: Mcpherson third base and cantu first Future(2011): Dominguez at third and morrison at first.

July 18, 200817 yr Those ready in the near future are McPherson at 3B and Sanchez at 1B. Down the road, it's Dominguez at 3B and Morrison or Stanton (if he keeps growing) at 1B. This is provided they all continue producing, of course.

July 19, 200817 yr Next Year: Mcpherson third base and cantu first Future(2011): Dominguez at third and morrison at first. I tend to agree whole heartedly. But IF Dallas and Cantu continue their ways AND the new Pond means an average MLB payroll it will be hard to get rid of those two.

July 20, 200817 yr I do like how we are talking about these guys, who are as at least as old as Hermida, in a universally positive way, and there remain people who dirt on Jeremy.

Only 10 HRs is kinda dissapointing, although I guess should be expected after last year. But absolutely loving the fact that he has more walks than strikeouts (!!!), and he's hitting a ton of doubles to kinda offset the no-hr thing.

Ideally he'll stay in left or right. He's tremendously athletic, so it's certainly possible he's able to stay in the OF.
