Umps say NO to Instant Replay

Featured Replies

too much pride on that one I think. Its good for the game, and most of the time they are right on.. Just sometimes its hard to make a call.

Too bad for them. Maybe if I had more faith in the umpires I would agree with them. Unfortunately for them, they're only human (not sure if they realize that).

if those dickheads dont want so much pressure on them and want the game to be right, they should vote yes. Seriousely, in this day and age, if the umpires make one wrong call that makes the other team lose the game, fans will literally kill them.

bizarre. they'd likely only use it on home-run calls so wtf do they care?

Because it's every ump's dream to have a Jeffrey Maier moment and look retarded.

One day that will happen though. :mis2

I guess getting the call right isn't important to them.

Pride supercedes all.

Hmmm...I guess they read our comments.

this was going to happen anyway.

its not like it really matters if the umpires want it or not, its not an issue the umpires really have a final say over. MLB has been installing the cameras and all for a couple of weeks now.

This isnt exactly breaking news.
