Fact is, if you could name me 3 relievers on this team who have been more consistent than Kevin Gregg, I might just go to your house and give you a cookie. This team has had 2 consistent relievers, for the most part. Joe Nelson and Doug Waechter (who has a totally different role). The bullpen, in general, has been inconsistent. Not just Gregg. Cool is saying Kevin Gregg is the reason we aren't leading the division. It's much cooler to be ridiculous than to say things that make sense. I dont think i can make an argument that hes the sole reason were not leading the DIV but his is a big part of it. Its not that the save he blew are losses but they effect the team the next day at times too. Its so demoralizing when your closer blows games.

While I do agree that it can hurt a team's morals and that it definitely CAN'T be a good thing, it doesn't seem to have affected the team's play.

We have a higher chance at winning the division, if we sweep both the Phillies and the Mets, thats gaining 3 on each team, possibly more depending on W/L during the other series. That asks that we be flawless, and each team loses more than 4 matches. Possible? Yes. Probable? No. Not going to happen, but I wouldnt put us anywhere near the WC.
