After sweeping the Astros we have the exact same record as them yet they decide to not even list us. f*** YOU ESPN i saw espn a little while ago and they showed the fish in hunt for october

After sweeping the Astros we have the exact same record as them yet they decide to not even list us. f*** YOU ESPN becuase this is all "statistics" and no "logistics". ESPN and their numbers dont care that we have won 8 straight, or that we have 3 against the Mets, or that we just swept the Astros, or any of that. All they care about is that our numbers expect to reflect their numbers, so if we are 80-72, they expect us to keep that ratio, regardless of how hot a team is. They are also expecting the Mets to keep their ratio, of 85-67. So they are expecting the Mets to beat us, basically. Its a bunch of baby-back BS, but whatever.

September 20, 200818 yr how is this for destiny, the marlins are now 4.5 games back of the wildcard w/ 9 games to go. last year the rockies were 4.5 games back of the wild card w/ 9 games to go w/ the same exact record, 81-72.

A big difference is that we don't hold the tiebreaker against the mets, the rockies got a playoff game when they were tied wit da padres, that wouldn't happen for us

We hold the tie breaker vs MIL and PHilly though should it come down to them we have winning records vs both of them.
September 20, 200818 yr If the Marlins win today that chance is of making it close will take a huge step forward no matter what the Mutts do...Although if they lost as well things would tighten up greatly. Lets do it let's make it 10!
