I completely agree. This move is making no sense at this point. Our bench is now comprised of:

 

Two guys who play 1B/3B

One guy who plays 1B/RF/LF

One guy who plays RF/CF/LF

and a catcher.

I don't see whats wrong with Cantu batting 4th and Bonifacio has done well this season vs LHP.

Helms hitting 2nd is pretty questionable.

Why the hell is Helms batting 2nd?

 

A .280 OBP hitting second with a .397 OBP (not to mention a .400 OBP this month while hitting eighth) hitting eighth. It's how we roll.

 

With this lineup we are going to roll of a cliff.

 

B.C. should be hitting 2nd then Cody 5th Paulino 6th, Uggla 7th and Helms 8th or vice versa with Helms 7th and Uggla 8th.

Right now the Phillies are hot but the Dodgers are the best team in the NL.

 

 

its close but the phils have the best offense no doubt and the pitching is comming around.
