That's b/c Nolasco started the year, horribly. ESPN barely talks about us as it is...they're not going to talk about us having one of the best 1-2 punches when the #2 has an ERA of 5 on the year.

Well, you can't fault them for still being a little pensive on Noly. That said, JJ gets a TON of props on MLBN. I just heard them a few days ago talking about some prospect being "the next Josh Johnson" and everyone was like "Wow, that's a big statement".

Nolasco hasn't been great that season. He really hasen't even been half as good as he was last season but is beginning to pick it up.

Nolasco is as good as anyone when he's pitching well. He does actually have very good stuff.

Nolasco is as good as anyone when he's pitching well. He does actually have very good stuff.

 

Key word is when he's pitching well.

 

You have to be consistant to be one of the best in the league, and he hasn't been consistant this season so I can't even fathom how someone would think our 1-2 punch is close or better than SF's or DET's.
