Bama played solid both ways especially MaClenroy and the could be Heisman Trophy Winner, Mark Ingram, he's a tank and pretty much the definition of roll tide.

FAU finishes off a disappointing season 5-7 with a 4th straight win over FIU to win the Shula Bowl once again. Even in a down year we own FIU! We are now 7-1 all time against them.

I'm rooting for Nebraska just so the BCS can look like a complete fail. You know the last thing they want to do is to even consider TCU for a National Championship game.

After watching that, I think that TCU deserves to jump Texas in the polls, simply my opinion.

 

But you know the BCS would have a fit having a team from a non major conference in the championship.

That was a pretty intense 15-20 minutes of football. I was flipping back and forth between both the Big 12 and ACC championship games. 2 great finishes.

Some great games today. Ga Tech & Clemson was back & forth, Cincy with that comeback against Pitt, Texas barely escaping vs Neb, and of course Bama finally beating Florida.

 

Heisman race gets muddled too, as McCoy and Tebow didn't particularly impress. Ingram and Spiller were fantastic though, I'd imagine Ingrim has the lead now.

I can't remember the time two non-BCS teams played each other in a BCS game. I think it's going to be like this:

 

Rose- Ohio State vs. Oregon

Sugar- Florida vs. TCU

Fiesta- Boise State vs Iowa

Orange- Georgia Tech vs. Cincinnati

Championship- Alabama vs. Texas

 

UM will probably end up in the Champs Sports Bowl thanks to Bowden.

That probably plays part of the recent (Tebow years) heavy hate on the Gators. But a lot of it from FSU/UM fans is just rivalry. When you don't make it and your rival does, you're supposed to talk sh*t when they fail.
