NFL picks are probably the most valued picks in sports... it is much easier to find someone good late in the draft in the NFL than any other sport (well with baseball it's completely wacky and I dont even like to think about it lol). A 6th round pick is still pretty valued. Undrafted players are pretty valued at times.

I'm not sure how but the Bucs desperately need to find a WR from somewhere. As it stands we have Michael Clayton, Sammie Stroughter, Reggie Brown and Maurice Stovall. Stroughter was a late pick last year and actually looked quite good so he is the only one of those I am happy with.

Thankfully we have one of the best TE's in Kellen Winslow but WR is a HUGE need. As is our D-line...

Looks like Thomas Jones signed with KC.

Thanks for the great 3 years. He really did a good job with the jets, I cant deny that. He did start to slow down at the end of the year so I can see why the jets let him go.

Yeah, thanks TJ. You were a fan favorite, or at least one of mine.

But he got $5 MM over 2 years, and the Jets would have owed him $5.8 for this year alone, including the roster bonus. They did the right thing, but we'll miss him.

It wouldn't kill the Jets to gamble on a high-upside, high-risk type RB later in the draft if one is available.

Dolphins re-sign Jason Ferguson. Interesting.

I'm confused by this. Jason Ferguson is good, but he's getting VERY up there in age (football terms), is out for the first 8 games this year with the suspension, and has been proven to be injury prone now that he is older.

I would've personally stayed away from Ferguson, but this may be a sign that the Trifecta doesn't believe that Solai is trustworthy when we get into the final 8 game stretch of the season.

I think they're trusting Solia to handle the starting NT position, something I do not have a problem with.

No offense but Kellen Winslow is like... one of the most hit or miss TE's in the game. And while some of that is because of the QBs... a lot of the time it's just Winslow on and off...

6th in receptions and 6th in yards for TE's in a year consisting of a jumble of Leftwich/Johnson/Freeman is more than alright. Bit lacking last year with only 5 TD's but they will come now he and Freeman have developed a rapport and Freeman will be improving in 2010.

Jets sign LT. Decent signing, but doesn't scare me. He is a good 3rd down back, though.

That's a great signing. LT can still be very explosive and will split time with Shone Green and Tomas Jones making them easily a top 10 rushing team in the NFL again this season. Also LT can mentor Green into an even better player then he already is.

Yeah for some reason people just write off LT because of his age... wrong idea. Still a good running option and a great passing option.

Brady Quinn Vs. Kyle Orton will have a QB battle of the CENTURY to deside who will start for the AFC elite Denver Broncos.

I don't think it matters who wins, the Broncos are not going to be a .500 team this season. I think Orton will win the job, but it will be close.
