Rabbethan
I got my tickets today (Super Saturday plan). Anyone else get theirs already? Also, this is my first year. Does the Opening Day ticket always look so strange? This thing is gigantic.

MiamiManiac131
Got mine today as well... AWESOME!! And to answer your questions, yes the opening day ticket is always that gigantic :gofish The Opening Day ticket is usually a little nicer than what we got this year... I found it pretty interesting that they put Uggla on there though. Coghlan, JJ and Hanley being on there was a given as they're on the website header... Maxx
I ended up buying the Holiday pack so we didn't get the fancy tickets, however, we got them about two weeks ago.

MrMarlinPride
Out of interest (and I know prices can vary a lot) how much is the average season ticket for the Marlins? I got my tickets aswell, I'm so exited Super Saturday package in the same seats for a 7th straight year. To answer your question Schnellders, it all depends on where you sit and how long you've had season tickets along with the package you get. For Instance I have my Super Saturday package for 2 people including opening day, closing day and an inter league game for 20 dollars a ticket in section 455 row 7. Those tickets usually sell for 25 to 30 and sell quickly since there right behind the 3rd base dugout in the upperdeck with a great view but I think my dad got a previous season ticket holder renewal discount. clobu001
I was hoping this year would be the year I purchased season tickets, but I wasn't sure of my plans so I never got around to it. I am for sure buying Hurricane season tickets, but there is no doubt I will be attending many nights sitting in the fish tank. Plus I will be there Opening Night for sure. I tell you what, I'd like to see JJ pitch the home opener as opposed to the season opener and we can just blame it on the stomach flu. fanfish
So whats the deal with people waiting until before the 2011 season to buy season tickets in order to secure seats in the new stadium? Will that work? Are we going to see a huge boost in season tickets for next season? I went for broke this year. I got the full season ticket package for this year and for 2011! It cost me a bundle but I plan to sell lots of tickets for all the games I can't attend on Stub Hub. Since I get a discounted price for the tickets I can afford to sell them for my cost (including the 15% Stub Hub fee) and still make it inviting for potential buyers by making my selling price cheaper than the box office price. I may even be able to make some money for the Mets, Phillies, Cubs and Braves games. I'll be glad to keep everyone posted on how things go though out the season. If it goes well, it may encourage more people to buy season tickets and help the team in that way.

CYmarlins
My week got screwed up so now I can't make the Home Opener for nxt week like I was planning to do. Most likely I will be at the Monday April 12 game though I am trying to get a 10 game plan this year, really wanna make more Marlin games. Always have a blast heading to the games. In other words if someone purchases 2011 season tickets and spend more then me, they will have a higher priority even though I've been a season ticket holder for 7 years. I was told the complete opposite and that they are doing it by years. So in your case you'll have priority of someone who buys a plan in 2011 (unless you have a mini plan like super saturday or bullpen pack and not a FULL season or half season plan). Its only for those who have FULL and HALF season plans.
CTMarlinsfan
I got my vouchers today.I can't do a season ticket plan becuase of my work scheudle, and super saturdays are days I work as well. My rep told me that I will have some priority...yes it will be bottom of the barrel, but I baught the tickets for $100, fish tank, so about the normal price and I bought them specifically for priority, as I plan to buy full season tix for 2012 regardless of my availability. We'll see what seats I get, but hopefully I can either get my LF or RF seats near the bullpen.

Bought the1/2 season plan on the 3rd base bullpen area, then bought the bullpen pack on top of that for my dad. Has anyone checked out the Billy Bingo prizes this year? They upped your chances of winning(1:4) now and with better prizes ( batting helmet/jerseys), also looks Like they are only giving bobbleheads this year thru Billy bingo Fridays, that sucks!!! The "spending more" part really means you have priority seating in a section equivalent to where your current season tix are by the amount of years you have had season tix. Meaning that even if you have been a season ticket holder for 10 years in the Fish Tank, you wouldn't have priority seating in the Batters Box seats over someone who has the full plan there for a couple seasons. And yes, season tickets sales are expected to go up considerably for 2011. It's one reason why I said payroll will again increase in 2011. I would imagine they are using the Twins as what they expect to happen here. I'm going by the idea that this is a "place to be seen" type of fan base.
