Posted August 21, 201014 yr 9-0 Luna, Ross each homer. Great night from the offense as a whole and Anibal keeps on dealing.
August 21, 201014 yr Last homerun by Ross in a Marlins uniform? Not unless he can bomb another couple before Sunday.

August 21, 201014 yr Last homerun by Ross in a Marlins uniform? Not unless he can bomb another couple before Sunday. Why do you say Sunday?? He probably meant before Monday. The Giants claimed him today; a decision on whether they trade him, release him, or keep him will likely be made Monday, I believe. Unless if a good trade offer occurs before Monday.
August 21, 201014 yr I want to vote for the WHOLE TEAM. Even if someone didn't hit the ball, there were numerous good/great plays in defense. PLUS, and I can say it now, there were NO ERRORS!!!!! AWESOME job Guys :marlins :ole

So the teams have so many hours/days to complete the trade. Makes sense. Thanks for the info.
August 21, 201014 yr I thought it was ridiculous how far bonifacio was off 1st base with hanley at 3rd.

Yeah I meant Monday for the reasons Erick mentioned.
August 21, 201014 yr I thought it was ridiculous how far bonifacio was off 1st base with hanley at 3rd. That's about a good sized lead for a good basestealer. Also he can take that lead because he's positive he can get back in time without getting picked off.

He's taking a huge lead at 1st with a runner on 3rd who he can't see and if the runner does steal 2nd he has a problem with men on 2nd and 3rd with the 3 hitter up and only 1 out. That's why it's not easy being a pitcher.
August 21, 201014 yr The benefit of having Boni on base. With the way he's been doing it, I'm almost to the point where I want him starting every day.
August 21, 201014 yr Bonifacio reminds me of Willie Mays Hayes. They should make him do pushups everytime he doesn't hit the ball on the ground. In addition to that, Andrew Miller is the left-handed version of Ricky Vaughn. Stanton is Cerrano. And we traded Roger Dorn (Cantu) before the July 31st trade deadline. Edwin, in case anyone is wondering, is the manager. "Forget the changeup Leo, give 'em the heater!!!"

August 21, 201014 yr Feels nice to get a complete win. Anibal was stellar, the offense was great, and the bullpen did a nice job. Granted they had a huge lead, but they didn't allow any baserunners. Great win tonight. I'll be going to tomorrow night's game with my dad. My first game in over a year and half! I'm pumped!

If you see a guy walking around wearing a teal Marlins BP jersey on top of a Astros rainbow uni, feel free to say what's up.
August 21, 201014 yr BTW, talking about Boni, there's not another player in the entire system that could have made that throw to the plate. No, not even Brett. It's not because his arm is super strong or anything, it's because he's so damn fast. He came out of LF wheels blazing, picked up the ball in way shallow LF and pull all his momentum into that throw. That man is crazy fast, I half think he could have met him at the plate himself.

August 21, 201014 yr Anibal is an animal! 3.15 ERA is huge. I thought it was quite low. Damn, ease your expectations of Anibal, MMP! I had to do it....

That AB (Gaby Sanchez at the plate) seemingly took forever.
