March 25, 201511 yr I think that motherfucker is gonna kill Glenn... Sending Maggie into a full on psychosis. This season has been great, IMHO. Think about where we were at the start, and everything that has transpired. Terminus/Church and the Cannibals/Beth and Atlanta/On the road again/Alexandria... The knock on TWD was that it liked to become stationary and settle on a setting for wayyyy too long. They led up to terminus all of last season and they were done with it before the first episode was done. I think they have done some good character development scenes, but not to the extent of dragging out whole episodes to do so.

March 29, 201511 yr My money is also on Glendale being offed. My theory... whoever was exiled is coming back. That's who Daryl and Gayguy will see when they're out there. They'll run back. Glennie will die. Rick will prove his point and take control.
March 30, 201511 yr Wow, pretty fucking great episode IMHO. Here are a couple of points... 1. Carol was the MVP. She set Pete up and made Rick the hero... Rick's speech was about as good as he could muster, and with the walker in tow, and Deanna's son backing him up that the gate was left open, things looked pretty good. But, even with all of that, they needed something definitive to happen, some way to cement Rick's moral position. Cue Carol. I believe that she deliberately fucked with Pete. Seriously, watch that scene again. She does this insane version of push-pull on Pete, threatening him, provoking him, scaring him, and then giving him casserole. Point is, it worked. Pete snapped and showed up with a sword. Rick's instinct is to shoot Pete before he can do any harm, but Carol stops him. "No... don't..." (implying, "we want this to play out.") And we all know how it plays out. Carol used her soft skills to set Rick up for the win. And nobody knows it happened. 2. I dont know if Morgan walking in on Rick shooting Pete is a good thing. Morgan looked completely shocked. I think he saw Rick as this shining beacon of hope, and seeing him kill someone on command will likely have an effect on him. 3. Did anyone else catch the parallel of the man in the red hood and the wolves? Little red riding hood and the big bad wolf! 4. Nicholas and Gabriel kind of redeemed themselves. I HATED these two when the episode began, and my hatred grew stronger as things progressed. By the end, I felt bad for them. They are both misguided and thought, incorrectly, that these were bad people. They have not had to face the things the group has, so they still walk around with this idea that bad things still dont occur and that any conflict can be resolved by talking. 5. Abraham may have had the best line in the entire series... 6. I loved the speech between Rick and Michonne, in which she basically said, I always have your back. Michonne is one of the shows strongest characters, I wonder why they dont develop her more. All we get is the sneering and the faces... I wish we could get more. 7. Carol is fucking epic. I was just discussing this with someone else, and I think she is the strongest character in the series. Her transformation has been outstanding. She went from a secondary character who no one gave a fuck about, to probably one of the biggest badasses... She is smart, conniving, lethal, sneaky... I mean, If carol dies, I riot.
March 31, 201511 yr Agreed. People are mad that no series regulars died. Why? People bitch when they kill them off and then bitch when they don't. Killing off a cast member can be big but it is not a requirement for a great finale. There are so many dangling threads left there.
March 31, 201511 yr Awesome end to an epic season. The transformation of Carol from subjucated mom to knife (and casserole) wielding badass almost puts the transformation of Walter White to shame.
March 31, 201511 yr It is so stupid. It's almost a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-dont position for the show runners if they do/dont kill a cast member. I am so happy that they were able to bring back life to this show. It had become so boring and this season totally redeemed it. From the first episode, where they go into and out of Terminus, you knew this wouldnt be the farm or prison again. I have always said that this show is at its best when the group is on the move, and this season really cemented that. I know that we will probably be in Alexandria for a bit, but I hope that they dont drag it out. I COMPLETELY agree with Carol's transformation being on par with Walter White's. I am amazed that she is the same lady who annoyed the shit out of me during the whole Sophia storyline. In all honesty, she has become the most interesting character in the series. She is absolutely perfect. She knows what she has to do, and does it. From killing the sick in the prison when nobody else would even think about it, to killing Lizzie because she wasn't fit to live in this world. She is a complete bad ass. The scene where she is telling the little boy what would happen to him if he blabbed about the guns was bonechilling, just the matter of fact way she is telling this little boy all of these horrific things. Crazy thing is, I think she would do it, too. It's funny, I was just telling my wife yesterday how I thought she (Melissa McBride) was really pretty. I guess it must be the hair lol. Admin, you dont know what you want. Carol is hot. Live with it.

October 28, 201510 yr It just seems like the way it was shot left it too open that he could survive it. The other guy (forgot his name) fell on top of him. it was his inners being pulled out. In theory, maybe they would assume they got all the meat and scatter elsewhere without ever getting to Glenn.
