i just hate how have the team is made-up players because they can't legally put minor league players in the game who haven't actually appeared in a major league roster.

You would think now with the days of DLC and constantly updating rosters (eg FIFA) that they would be able to provide some minor league rosters, even if they charged for it.

The problem is the rights. There is no such thing as the MiLBPA; they would have to negotiate with every minor leaguer individually for the rights to their name/likeness.

On an upnote, there is the OS Full Minors roster (that's not out yet).

I had just presumed since they had the rights to the Minor League team names and a few of the ballparks that they could use the player names, but didnt as it would mean too much work to accurately rate them and constantly update their abilities.

May 5th. Mark it down. The day I start learning how to play this game.

I crossed off my girlfriend's birthday on my calender and put this in there instead. Her birthday is on the 27th.

yeah OS does a very good job at that. but honestly during franchise i really don't care who's in my minors cuz i trade most of the good ones for proven players.

i mostly play RTTS and amazing is an understatement. I finally got called up in the middle of my 2nd season. I made a couple relief appearances then they stuck me in the number 4 spot in rotation. 1st career start:: W,: 7IP, 6H, 2R, 2ER, 1BB, 1HBP, 9K

Aubrey Huff homered to left off me after i fell behind 3-1 David Wright was on base. Other than that i struck out Cody Ross twice, Beltran once, and Bay 3 times, among others

What difficulty level do you guys play RTTS on?

I always start on Rookie because, frankly, I don't feel like just sucking for months and months. By the time I get to the bigs, I bump it up.

god our bullpen is horrible in this game. i go 7 strong innings with jj, liriano, vazquez, anibal, and volstad and then the bullpen blows every freakin lead. im 8-6 but i've had like 5 blown saves thus thar

Yeah, the guys at The Show seem to think that Javy is our 4th best player...

So nearly bought this today. Really is a struggle preventing myself from purchasing this and a few other games until I'm clear of uni on May 16th :confused

I'll buy the 2012 game. I enjoyed MLB 10: The Show, but for some reason I haven't played ever since I got to the playoffs. My guy led the Astros to game 7 of the playoffs against the White Sox or something, and I haven't played that 7th game - and this was like 8 months ago lol.

I had an odd path to the majors. Started off with the Padres in double a at 3rd base. Did well and went off in the double a PO. Next year I play in triple A doing pretty good and get traded to the white sox. I stay in there triple a there for like 2 season constantly demanding trades lol, did well but never made it up and tore my hammy the second season with them. Then they traded me to the Angels. Did good the first season with them in triple a still no call up but sucked my second season. So the season ends and I'm thinking damn gonna have play in triple a again. So i start getting offers from teams and of course they are all for triple a starter but i hold out for a while and the freaking Yankees come out of no where and offer me 1.3 mil for 3 years as a MLB starter. So for sucking in triple a with the angles this is my reward lol. I am on a team with Strasburg, Lincecum, Pedrioa, Cano, Kyle Blanks, Reyes, and Justin Upton. Hitting on all star level is so freaking hard.

Just started a new guy with the fish as a closer.

Wow, they're getting VERY realistic :o

This game sucks...the hitting is too computerized. I'll square a ball up and 90 percent of the time the ball goes directly to somebody. I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of if I win the game or not. Its all up to the computer to decide if your hits drop or not. Don't waste your money on this garbage.

No, it'd be more realistic if your perfect timing superb contact hits dropped more than 10 percent of the time. Maybe it's because I play with the marlins and they're constantly underrated. I don't know. Don't even get me started on the glitches I've seen so far.

That's not how it works in real life. Just because you make perfect contact doesn't mean your hits are going to drop...

And you're exaggerating the 10%.
