I don't have a problem with saying "I don't think these are totally accurate, you guys."

I just think it's idiotic to try to act like an authority on how much people weigh based on looking at them.

So you're eyes and memory were deceiving you on one guy

Well, gosh, I'm sorry that I admitted that I probably made an error on fat-boy Ceda. Can you ever forgive me?

I'm perfectly happy to stand by what I've said. These weights are inflated.

Pedroia is a good example. Height inflated by about 3 inches, weight by 20-30 pounds. And those were

"official" team statistics. I guess someone bribed a doctor, huh?

Bonifacio doesn't weigh 200 pounds. JJ doesn't weigh 250 pounds.

I hate people like you.

You could be right, but stop pretending like you certainly are.

Especially regarding JJ, I don't see what's so laughable about that. He's 6 f***ing 7; he's a big guy.

Why did you turn this thread into this, anyway?

What is this? Pipsqueaks claiming that guys who are foot taller than they are weight more than they actually weigh?

Sheesh. I made simple point. Reported weights are inflated. Apparently, everyone engages in it.

Boni doesn't weigh 200 freakin' pounds or anything close to it.

You're wrong

What?

Did you really just call people who disagree with you "pipsqueaks?"

What are you, a bully on the Wonder Years?

Oh, BTW, this thread was about nothing until I mentioned the inflated weights. I thought it was slightly humorous.

That some want to take issue with that, well, so it goes.

Actually, the thread was about something; it was asking for updates regarding Josh Johnson's status before you became the human weight scale.

Also, your original point was that it was a joke that the Marlins site had those #'s for each player; however, every single site with player profiles has the same exact #'s for every one of the players listed.

This isn't something new, nor does it seem to be a typo of some sort.

The only thing worse than you in this thread is BroncoBob five months from now telling us that Gaby really sucks defensively because he saw him in Spring Training and, uh, he didn't tie his shoes properly before the innings began. Or something.

I don't see how that's in any way a 'gay' thing to do.

Doesn't matter now. My attempt at a joke failed miserably.

:lol

If Bonifacio weighs 200 pounds, I'm the queen of England. Get real.

Prince Fielder is listed at 275. No way is Bonifacio only 75 pounds lighter than Fielder. How is Fielder not at least 300?

Hey, I had nothing to do with breaking your leg.

Wow.

Tough crowd.

I guess that no one agrees that Boni doesn't weigh anywhere near 200, and the rest of the weights are overstated, never mind fat-boy.

Oh, well, so it goes. Didn't think anyone would get excited about it.

Aww, I knew you were joking. hahaha

You completely missed the point. But no matter, I wouldn't expect much perspicacity on a baseball board from Logan Morrison from you.
