Braves new jersey

Featured Replies

In all seriousness, I would have liked them to use the Dark Tomahawk under the name, like whats on the Red and Blue Alt. Not a bad jersey the way it is. I like it better than the Dark Blue "BP looking" alternate they got now. I dont understand the hate toward the red alternate they have now.

Simple and elegant. We could take lessons.

To further elaborate, the Marlins are not the Atlanta braves, yankees, cubs, or redsox. I'm only going off what you posted so I might not accurately be debating your points.

You can't get much simpler in design of the Marlin in the logo. An abstract design compared to the last one is definately a more simplistic design. Colors are about the only thing that could be said as being too complex but I dont agree.

I think the whole jersey set balances the color in the M logo and wordmark perfectly. The Orange alternate and hat is the only combo that really could throw the design from a nice blend to overally complex. When I look at the Home, Road and black alt, I see a nice balance of color and subtitlity. The orange is nice and outrageous in its own sense.

I'm glad we didn't try to be old fashioned or go for a set like the previous Miami Marlins.
