April 26, 201214 yr Not having watched today's game..I'll take it that we lost again. Damn swept by the Mets, horrible! Again, we're playing horrible right now but especially against our own division. I mean the NL East is extremely tough..I mean, even the Nats aren't push-overs anymore..we can't keep playing so crappy.

April 26, 201214 yr I'm more upset at the lack of offense than Bell blowing this game. We've scored like what, 4 runs this whole series? That's just awful. Yea seriously and even how we got the second run, it makes the loss hurt less knowing we only had 2 runs, from our beyond anemic offense. Bell is really really bad he was walking guys and then even gave up a hit, I guess it goes to show that the Marlins front office should be more careful next time they think about paying a large amount of money for a closer.

April 26, 201214 yr Author The fact of the matter is, a lot of players are off to suspiciously slow starts. Reyes, Stanton, Bell, Gaby to name a few. Even Hanley has cool off. When the inverse happens (and it will happen, Reyes will not finish the year batting .200), we'll probably see some decent stretches of winning. It is still only April, and yes this early start can still cost us in the long run, but things will turn around due to the nature of the game.

I think Ozzie could have won the game by giving up early on Bell, but he was definitely sending a message: If you're gonna be our overpaid closer, than close the damn game. Ozzie needs to start busting major balls on this team. f*** feelings. Certain guys are getting paid to well to be so sensitive at this point in their careers. Its so sad to see starting pitching as good as ours just go to waste.

Here's another fact: April is the first month of the Baseball season. And another one: There are many more months to come after it. Try focusing your frustration on other things then mocking other posters. This team was 29-19 last year and then went really sh*tty bad.

April 26, 201214 yr The reality is, Bell is gonna close again, and he'll get on some sort of roll. He's being paid too much to be setup or middle relief. He'll sit down with St. Claire, they'll look at some video, he'll get it straightened out. We knew we weren't getting Mariano Rivera here.
