dirtyarcade
Is it just me, or does anyone else get the feeling that Ozzie seems a little apathetic about this whole Miami Marlins thing he's doing? I personally think he's already made a couple decisions that have cost us games (pulling JJ out in the 7th with 2 outs with a man on 1st when he was still pitching good stuff, and clearly didn't want to be taken out. And deciding to leave Bell in after he clearly was eating sh*t at the mound). I'm probably just being a little over analytical about this, and I'm sure our sh*tty start has something to do with it, but lately I've been getting a worried feeling that maybe Loria and Samson picked the wrong guys to coach this team. I hope I'm wrong about all this. I want the Marlins to do good!

FloridaMarlinsForever
I get the feeling that the team is broken, that or there being paid off to lose games, really I feel they are that bad right now

The hitting will come around and the bullpen will find the plate. Be patient folks.
LordMagnus
Will they start playing better eventually? Probably. The question is how far back will they put themselves to have a realistic chance of catching up if they do.
Michael
Will they start playing better eventually? Probably. The question is how far back will they put themselves to have a realistic chance of catching up if they do. In the realistic sense ... it's still April. We could be 20 games back on June 1st and still technically have a chance, cause there's still over 110 games to go. Do I WANT to be 20 games back on June 1st? No. But the fact is we've got the entire season to go. You guys really need to chill. We're all upset about the offensive slumping, just some of us realize that we've got a long time left. I know its still April. Duh. the problem is that there's no timeline for when the team is going to turn things around. Like you said, they may be well behind the rest of the division when it happens. dirtyarcade
This was more about the fact I sometimes get the feeling Ozzie Guillen couldn't give 3 shits less about winning games. Think about it, what if the whole Castro thing f***ed with his head? Even today in the post game interview, someone asked him when will he start worrying, and he replied with "I don't worry, I never worry, because I know I will have this job, or another job somewhere, but I don't worry". I know English isn't his first language, but really bro?

I know English isn't his first language, but really bro? He's always said stuff like that. You must've never followed him when he was with the White Sox. Unlike most people, he's not a politically correct guy. He says stuff that's true. There's no reason to "worry" when you have a family and you're making millions. NOTtheILMarlins
I would like to see Ozzie get more fired up and maybe get thrown out of more games, I mean that is partly why we got him right, to show passion? On the Marlins, you have to stick with the team through thick and thin. I am as much disappointed as most of the rest of this board but take away a few collapses by Bell and this team is a .500 team through April and still near the front of the pack. If we start to hit the ball for average we will achieve greater heights of .500 and probably a wild card shot with the Nats, I can really see that happening this year with the terrible central the way it is.
