Anyone have any idea what the two fingers sideways over the eyes when the Marlins get a hit mean? I am curious to find out. Apparently it seems to have caught on to the point that Astros pitcher Lopez mocked it today. I know this is an inside the clubhouse type thing. Just curious if anyone knew....

Yea, doing it after every hit is too much. Like when Randall Hill used to catch a 3 yd out pattern, get tackled and get up and do his celebration. They were talking about it on MLB Tonite and doing it to each other.

Except its really not that over the top. Its a very simple gesture..just a team oriented thing really. Its not like someone show boating after hitting a home run.
