BTW Maybe it's just me but I don't seem to remember catcher interference on both sides happening as often in the past as it is this year. Could be just my imagination.

any reason why Omar was pulled from the game? Or was it just a routine double switch?

Kinda expected Ricky to have a bad outing soon, you knew it was coming at some point. Hopefully he can bounce back with the next start and it's not something we are going to start to see from him. For most of his career seems like he will be really good in spurts but just can't put together a real consistent season.

 

I guess one positive from yesterday was Reyes raking 4 hits. Good to see him finally get going, hopefully.

I was wondering the same thing. When you have 4 more AB, you don't pull your "best" hitter.
